  • I asked if they did student discounts in Toni & Guy a while ago, and they gave me 10% off. I think in a lot of places they don't advertise the discounts so it makes sense to ask. Why not?!

New Look also give 10% off.
    Mmmmmmmmmm...... bargains.......!

  • Hi everyone, I buy a lot of CD's and books online, just wondered if sites like blahdvd.com, play.com or CDWOW do student discounts? It's not advertised but has anyone ever asked them for one? And what about Amazon?

Oh and HMV online does 10% student discount. Then if you go through a cashback site like quidco.com you get a further 6% off, so that's 16% off with free P&P!!
    bad hair day...

You can get 10% off through pigsback for CDWOW (not only students) and a couple of percent cashback through quidco.com for play.com (2%) and blahdvd.com (5%)
  • just wondered can you still use the codes etc with your student discount at hmv???

Virgin megastores no longer do student discount which is a bit pants, you have to collect addict stamps instead.(one stamp per £10 spent ten stamps = £10 off.

Are you sure? I'm sure I've asked at the New Look at home and they've said they don't do it..

Sweet..I'll be trying that then? Do you live in a big city? I'm at uni in manchester so there are more student deals here than when I am home, maybe that is the case (Or maybe they just decided to finally be nice to students...)
