Sorry Em, hope you weren't offended by my little rant about car seats. Fair enough if you are making the best of what you have, but it's the ones that have bought a huge pram with everything and they still insist on using the car seat and then wonder why the baby is cranky. By the way, both the boys were in lie flat pushchairs, DS1 a 3 wheeler from mothercare (chocolate brown urban detour awesome buggy) and DS2 an el cheapo travel system from argos (£100 one) and they were in them from 2 weeks old (and they were 5lbers), never did them a bit of harm
its the people i see with the carseat on top of the lie down buggy that gets me. my friends daughter, everytime i see her with baby has the carseaton top of the buggy, and it really p's me off, but cant say anything as is friend....TMI question ladies... is it ok to use tampons for your first af after giving birth? I can't remember if there was a specific reason why you shouldn't?
god, i hope so. had my 1st af 3 weeks ago and after 2 days of towels, had to go and buy the tampons. i hate using towelsfeelinggood wrote: »Thanks for the advice. I've got loads of toys here, more than at home! Toby also has a walker, a ride on cow and a three story dolls house! There is a huge bucket of toys in the living room. It is the same at home though, nothing is as wonderful as telephones, wires, buttons and ornaments. Current favourite thing to do is to crawl over to the mantelpiece and throw Mum's nice things around!
Feeling okay so far this morning. Toby has just eaten some shreddies and going to have some yogurt now (yay for bibs!).
Hope everyone is okay today

after i went last night, i didnt hear hubby coming back and kian didnt wake till 2am. then dh made the bottle so i could cuddle kian.
was a bad mummy this morning though, cos kian woke at 6.50 am, and i gave him a quick cuddle and his soother and out him straight back in basket so i could have another hour in bed. it worked though as he must have fallen asleep (i did) and we got up at 8.15 instead, hels now asleep having had most of his bottle.'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
