As long as they aren't in the car seat 24/7, I don't see a problem. During the day Keira was in a bouncer or a playmat and a night she would sleep either in the bouncer or the car seat.

Yep, that' why Keira liked the car seat, it was more upright and it rocked, and when she stirred in the night, it was a case of sticking your hand out the bed and giving it a shoogle :rotfl:

Seriously don't worry about it Tigs, won't do him any harm whatsoever, and I'd not like having my baby in a pram that wasn't forward facing at such a young age, could be sick or whatever.

Are there any housework faries kicking about to do the dishes for me? Or someone to keep DS2 from annoying DS1?

thats ok SS :D ... my memory is beyond a joke so understands the fairies :rotfl: x
    :)Still searching .....:)
  • Tigs- I am in the same position with Matthew. He looks like crap in his car seat- all crunched up and uncomfy. The buggy part of the pram- although it lies flat has straps that are still waaaay to big for him. Wish I had bought an old fashioned silver cross (although I don't even have the room for the pram I have. I have to fold it up and lift it into the kitchen after every use as I don't really have a hallway or a living room bigger than a postage stamp!!)

I just wrapped the boys in a blanket and the straps were fine. Maybe I was just a terrible mother and never realised they were falling out! :rotfl::rotfl:
  • I apologise for the mega post, I've probably missed a few more pages while writing it! Perpare yourselves. Feel free to skip most of it, but look for your name, in case I've said something:

searching_me - I got round to installing Norton. I don't usually bother with anti-virus software on lappy, just get OH to fix it when it goes wrong. Trust be to get a worm on the night he was too drunk to help! Have you got anyone you can talk to about this stuff that is building up? You can email the Samaritans, if that is helpful? I'm always here, if I'm of any use :) About the skint thing, proples priorities annoy me. SIL is too skint to pay for childcare (OHs old, disabled parents instead) yet is always posting holiday photos on facebook!

Sami_Bee - the bibs are great, especially the one with sleeves. LO ate loads of yogurt this morning, almost a whole pot! Have you got something for the spot? Toothpaste works sometimes. Car seat instructions are silly. Mine mention a storage compartmemt I didn't know about, but the instructions were in there! Took me a few months to find them!

money maker - I don't much like the sound of that advert! Thankfully not seen it. What was your application for, I think I missed it.

elle_gee - hope holiday is nice and that Rhys settles in soon. Missing you!

My Fathers Daughter - thank you for being all wise and rational and reasonable, what would I do without an MFD! Lovely to hear that you are happy at work and with CM, that is super :)

emlou2009 - hope shop goes well! The frylight makes okay roasties, but they don't compat to goosefat or olive oil ones.

tiamai_d - Hope DS feels better soon. I used to have loads of UTIs and things, and Pottasium Citrate from the pharmacy heped. If you are out today, you could ask if it'd be suitable for him. Hope AF isn't too bad. I'm not looking forward to that! Have fun scrubbing the house down with b;each, hope the illlnesses will be over soon.

Buttonmoons - I think it would be cruel to move the cat, so you absolutely must not iron! How is your Coke addiction? I find squash is nice if you make up a litre bottle and stick it in the fridge.

weezl74 - Yay for sleeps! Hope you have a lovely, bright day after sleeping. How is Fergus? And OH? When are your KIT days?

tarajayne - I read that being in one place too long can cause a flat head, but so can lying on one side in the cot. My SIL used to rub her babies heads really hard to mould them into a round shape!! Hope site speeds up. It is fine for me, but can''t get on my Farm :(

jillie1974 - Yay for more sleep! Amazing what an etra hour can do. I give LO a few toys when he wakes up and I try to have a bit more sleep. He rolls over to me and looks at me in the face and pokes me! Killie, it does seem silly to take the carseat out when you've got the pram with you. I used to use he carseat on th Quinny Wheels, but that was for a maximum of 30 minutes once a week.

astonsmummy - I know you aren't reading, but I can't talk to everyone and not you! ((hugs))

cazscoob - sorry about being skint :( Don't feel bad about not buying much though, you don't need to spend a lot to have a wonderful Xmas. Made me laugh, imaginging Erin in the mop bucket. My Mum has dozens of photos of me IN the toilet :D

BrunoM - sorry for tough night. How is OH finding things? I think someone else asked, when seeing Doctor?

SugarSpun - Yay for hubby coming home! Hope he recovers quickly and things get back to normal for you. Hope the growth spurt is over quick. Toby had dozens of them. I don't think she can be overweight at this age, you can't overfeed a breastfed baby!

r.mac - thanks for toys tip. LO loves empty bottles and letters, much more than posh toys! I just can't believe how into everything he is and how he shouts at me and flaps his arms if I take something away! How are you today?

3onitsway - I like peas! I stick peas in everything, sheperds pie, curry, soup, casserole, stew. Anything! Mmmm peas. About Nan's, mine asked why do I cuddle LO much, she used to leave Dad in his pram in the garage! Will be thinking of you on Monday, hope it goes well. I'm still at parents, not sure when going home, this weekend or next. I'm swinging towards next at the momemt.

Tigsteroonie - thanks for your post last night. How does it feel to have less hair? I was shocked when I washed mine for the first time!

wi3adora - your day (the food esp) sounded fab! Hope feet have recovered today!

scruffy96uk - hope the move is all going smoothly and gets sorted soon. How are you doing?

mookiandco - thank you for your post yesterday, it didn't upset me. I don't want to give LO up but I don't want to condemn him to a life of misery. Hopefully I'll find a way through this.

Becles - I was a pain when it came to clothes! My Mum always tried to put me in dresses but I refused, Only thing I wore was yellow dungarees. I was nicknamed Yellow Feelie. Loved the ice skating picture yesterday! Are the billboards still up near you?

SusanC - Thank for toy ideas. LO does love opening post with me, one time he ended up covered in black ink from a cheap mailing!

Claire Jones - Our Egg card has over-zealous security, but they don't ever tell us. Tesco triggered it once, despite me having ordered the same value things, once a week, for more than 5 years! Other card is the opposite, let us put through £23K with no questions asked! Was it anything interesting at the Childrens Centre? Thank you for your kind offer yesterday, that was really lovely xx

newmoneysaver - hope you got OH off the PS3. OH has been playing COD for a few days and invited the guys round to play. Complete Blu-ray drive failure, nothing will play :( My Parents-in-law are the opposite, despite me saying LO is hungry they argue he just needs jiggling, walking etc. Grr!

tsstss7 - looking forward to seeing pictures of your new fluffy! The cat is at the cattery here and I miss him. Mum chose the catterty because each pen has a full length window overlooking fields! Could you phone NHS Direct or HV and ask how long to wait? They might be overly cautious and side with OH though. Could you book an early morning or late appointment - if I get first of the day or first after lunch it is quieter.

keelykat - hope you feel better soon. It is hard looking after a LO and being ill. Hope OH is a bit more sympathetic. If not, you can get lots of sympathy from us.

sparkle03 - thanks for your lovely post yesterday. I kept wanting to say that
I can see why you chose your username, as you are a lovely, sparkly person, but thought it might sound like a crazy stalker type thing to say! It is meant in a nice way though :D Don't be a stranger too, I like hearing from you on the thread.

Fritha - was lovely to meet you. I'm trying to persuade OH to get me a Joey :D

Jakesmummy - well done to brave Jake! How is he today? Did you make it to the Docs about missing period? Can't remember if I said, but wonderful photos!

Fitzio - let us know how baby sensory goes!

bailey - not seen you online for a week or so, hope you are okay.

SeptemberBaby - always lovely to see you posting. How are you and yours?

redmel1621 - are you okay? Hope you got some decemt sleep and things are looking brighter. Good luck for presentation.

ladybirdintheuk - just read about the fun party you went to, well done on
all that eating!! How are you?

chopsticks - are you sleeping better? And how is LO teeth? Do you have lots of teething things? Has she stayed perked up after seeing HV?

Krystaltips - your talk of precan things, chips and kievs makes me hungry! Hope OHs mole is healing and you are all okay? I saw a quoted post about a leak, I don#t remember seeing it, hope it isn't too bad?

carlamagee - hope you had a fab b'day! What did you get upto?

Glamazon - thanks for your post yesterday. I think anyone would want another after seeing how adorable Jack is! How is he? Still poorly and hungry?

Pink Princess 1 - Oh no for leaks! Hope it is okay. Will the stain go when dried out maybe? Thanks for hugs xx

pookie5488 - eww at smelly baby! LO has always done really smelly 'man farts' even when just on breastmilk. I don't understand how something so small and cute can make such a noise/smell! Thank you for your supportive post :) I love your avatar pic btw!

angelfairy - I miss you already!!

Mazcabs - how are you getting on? Did you decide to go for Iron Tablets (and prune juice perhaps?).

    Millie's Mum - I saw you slink in :D

Harley1 - how is the grizzly baby, a bit better I hope? Had some more sleep?

Lyndach - I'm not sure we've met (I'm terribly forgetful) so Hello! Did you get your power back or was there multiple trips to the chippy?

Heelo's to pinkpig08, LCK73, got-it-spend-it (if you are lurking!), annielove, jennynoo, JAM1376, HypnoNu, jha, kindofagilr, In Search Of Me, Lu T, workinmummy, carol49cat, elfen, karen1907, ChrisCobra, MadDogWoman, helen81, MrsTine, bails, upavon1, angela6834, tinkerbelluk, Llogan1988, MOTM, Savvy and all our missing members.

Oh, and are we due any newbies from the pregnancy thread soon?

Cos I couldn't fit it elsewhere, bad parenting, at the station, a baby (maybe about 12-14 months) was fussing in the buggy, so the Mum leaned in and shouted 'Shut up' really loud in her face, the lkaughed to her mates :(
    Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.
