god, i hope so. had my 1st af 3 weeks ago and after 2 days of towels, had to go and buy the tampons. i hate using towels

feelie you are sounding a bit better today!!

had quoted other things too, but seemed to have disappeared.... and now i cant remember..
oh yeah Bruno- did you get lo to dr and are they going to refer him to a paediatrician (sp?)
Jillie does your friend know that she shouldn't be having her LO in the carseat so much though? My friend wasn't aware of the 'rule' and was glad I told her. You could try to word it so you're saying the pram is better for LO than the carseat so she doesn't feel put out. :)

you can only use multi-quote for 3 quotes at a time ;)

Windows defender is in your control panel, do you have a firewall other than the windows one?

Sami, I have a friend who is a 1st time Mum and a little stubborn. When bubs was born the midwife visited for 2 weeks twice a day. I think even she could see there was a little problem. She has not used the pushchair part yet at 6 months, only the car seat. I know of one day recently he spent 13hrs in it as she was out all day, she doesn't like being at home much. I've tried telling her and suggesting other things, like this week I asked for a drink of squash and she said she doesn't do squash as it's full of sugar. I asked her what she gives her stepchildren as they spend half the week with them so she said fruit juice, eek! When I said how bad it was for their teeth she said rubbish!

    Hello all,

I hope you don't mind me gatecrashing - I haven't had the chance to log on here since Ellie was born (6 weeks ago) :o

I had a quick question about child benefit, if anyone can answer? How far back do they backdate the payments? I thought it was 3 months, but I've just had a mystery payment into my bank account with no indication where it came from, and if it's child benefit it's only half of what I would have expected for 6 weeks. Any ideas anyone? Thanks!

Oh my god, fruit juice was a HUGE no when I had gestational diabetes. It sent my blood sugars nuts. You don't realise just how much sugar is in it as well as the acids. But some folk just will never listen. No Added Sugar squash all the way in my house.

Amber has fallen asleep in her chair holding one if the toys from her play gym.
