ManOnTheMoon wrote: »No, we're done now. I'd not consider any town centre, let alone a City centre this close to Christmas and with current weather, although we seem to have got away with it compared to most places. My panic is down to what my present is going to be, as opposed to having enough food etc - we have enough food to last until next Christmas too
I hope you are all sorted, considering recent scares?
Nice Tescos man delivered my shopping today.Too many children, too little time!!!0 -

I've not really noticed yet - its school holidays and I was off for them anyway. It'll be in the new year when big ones go back to school that i'll notice.
How are you and all of your girls/lady?
I'm wishing I was a bit evil and could give my DD a lump of coal for christmas. She's been an absolute brat today! Is it christmas excitement?:beer:0 -

What did I do ??
Your lovely bl00dy idea of a room makeover inspired me, and when I was describing Erins room to you I realised she had really grown out of it so instead of buying her many presents she's having a suprise makeover but the flippen wallpaper hasn't arrived and the room is in pickle. It's coming from France and was due last week...http://www.wallpaperdirect.co.uk/products/casadeco/gala/66234Too many children, too little time!!!0 -
no throwing up here 3
I know hubby is planning to work 2mo but I really don't think he should! Its not like he sits on his tush all day in a cosy office, he's lifting heavy things, welding, grinding, drilling in a big freezing cold workshop not good when all he's eaten in the last 24hrs is 2 slices of toast and some dry pasta with chicken!

Any idea what to do with yourself when the New Year starts? I'm lucky enough to work from home, but it was strange at first. You'll get used to whatever you decide to do. Being on call and at home for your kids is quite satisfying.
We're all okay thanks. Lucy is a diamond. Takes some of the pressure off me. Still keeps saying she hopes I like her present and I can't really say much other than "i'm sure I will". Poor thing is nervous.
I would say it's Christmas excitement right now. What, 3 days until Christmas. Holidays are usually an 'exciting time', but with gifts on Friday, it just makes them more hyper.0 -
