TMI question ladies... is it ok to use tampons for your first af after giving birth? I can't remember if there was a specific reason why you shouldn't?

Claire, was probably the bank not Amazon, if you use it a lot on lots of smaller purchases it could flag up a fraud check. When Natwest do this I get a call within minutes. Took Lloyds 3 days to ring OH when they did it to him!

Site is still playing up so I've only read a little. SM, I've used Priceminister, I got the cashback and used the code so I payed £1 for a cd but had the £5 cashback on top.

    .

I know it was the bank not Amazon's fault, its a fraud check cos of all the transactions. Its a Lloyds card (I helped to write the rules for the lloyds computer system that pulls up the suspicious card usage but its the lack of staff they can be bothered to pay for to actually call you which annoys me!)

    Morning everyone.

I'm looking for just a little teeny bit of sympathy please-Elliot seems to have passed the tonsilitis back to me so I'm going back to the doctors in a bit for more antibiotics :( I'm not pleased, it's already screwed my pill up and given me a dodgy tummy for the past ten days. My husband doesn't seem to be bothered if i'm ill anymore, i have to get on with it. If hes ill he gets all the sympathy!!

    Rant/moan over :(

  • Ah Keeley - its horrible having tonsilitus, I've only had it once but I feel for you!

If men are ill is the end of the world, we just have to carry on. The bug we all had (hopefully gone) put Matt on the sofa with a duvet resting and me still running around after the boys even though I had been up with the boys in the night and had thrown up more than him!

    (((hugs Keely)))

My DS1 is up in his bed rolling about with stomach cramps and it hurts when he pees. Given him ibuprofen, not much else I can do.

Sm, she's just a fountain of knowledge and having raised 4 kids she knows all the tricks!!! Apparently, I should be taking Liam out in the pram to get him some fresh air to make him sleep in the day. My issue with this: a) has she seen the rain? b) where exactly am I supposed to go (without spending money) c) Liam will happily go to sleep with a bit of effort from me.

Sounds familiar, also the weaning obsession. I think it's just because medical advice told mothers to wean much earlier when we were littlies so they're worried the babes aren't getting enough nutrition. Mine was convinced Molly was starving because she's exclusively breastfed. I was peeved at my doctor and yet secretly delighted when he suggested Molly was overweight (at 14 weeks old ) and I shouldn't be feeding her as often.

The last couple of days I think he has a point: she's been feeding every two hours. Growth spurt?

Wonderful sleep Weezlie, and Feelie I hope you're doing ok.

Hugs for sick babies and sick Keely.

SM my fairies are going to the post office today.

And now for my news, which I'm making big:

My husband is coming home from the hospital today!!!!!!!
