  • Edit - it can work out MOTM, we all get along nicely, DSS is happy and cared for by both parents and thinks he has got it better than his mates with parents still together!! We are living proof that step-families can work - the practice wife has even offered to babysit Benjamin for the night so hubby and I can go out...a bit too wierd for me but you never know, Benjamin may well want to stop with his big brother at some point and at least we know he would be welcome.

Well, i'm pleased it has worked out for you and your lad. Proof it can work and it's always good to hear when things do work out.

I still don't want my girls mothers in contact though and neither do the girls, and that is there choice, not my pressure. I do try and keep my opinions on them away from the girls. It took a while for my girls to stop crying and thinking it was there faults, so I wouldn't even risk it.

Each to their own though and I hope your boy continues to enjoy himself :D

If the pwc is not claiming benefits they get the full amount. If the pwc is on benefits then under the new system they get the full amount and anything over a certain amount gets deducted from the benefit... Under the old system they used to pay some to the pwc and the rest went to the secretary of state to go into the benefits pot... Csa don't keep anything or give it to the pwc of children who's nrp don't pay...

Ta, that makes muchos more sense ;):D

Sami, G&S is on BBC3 now, if you missed the start :) No early night for you tonight, I assume? ;)
