What so theoretically OH would pay X amount, I'd only see Y and they'd keep Z for themselves? Thats illegal surely. Unless your recieving benefits of course

GRRRRRRRR Husband's co-worker's stag party is tonight. At 9pm I sent Husband out to say hello, have a non-alcoholic drink (anti-b like horse pills) and come home. It is almost 1am. Where is he? Hmm....

Maybe I'm talking randomness but that's how I understood it, maybe that's the old way.. best wait for 3 to clarify before I get into trouble! ;):o
  • You know I once did the online CSA thingy to see what it would say, on the basis that OH had Keira every weekend and he'd have to pay me about £300 a month  I don't even spend that on Keira, even taking into account electricity that she uses, and the food she does not eat, clothing etc.....

    Maaaaaaaad!

The online calculator and what you put on forms/over the phone is never the same, with any organisation.

Then months down the line they tell you that you've been overpaid/underpaid or paid the wrong thing

It's not the people who work in these places, it's the systems.

As I said to Beenie earlier, I won't even chase my girls mothers, mainly as they don't want contact and secondly, we don't want their money or the hassle, and Beenie said she felt the same.

It's a tough call as to whether you risk the contact for the money, or avoid the hassle and get by and everyone makes their own individual choices.

The money you and Emlou's OH have been quoted/told seems a bit excessive though :o

Oh so glad that hubby gets on with the practice wife! At least every penny goes to her.

Off to bed, work tomorrow, take care all xxx

Edit - it can work out MOTM, we all get along nicely, DSS is happy and cared for by both parents and thinks he has got it better than his mates with parents still together!! We are living proof that step-families can work - the practice wife has even offered to babysit Benjamin for the night so hubby and I can go out...a bit too wierd for me but you never know, Benjamin may well want to stop with his big brother at some point and at least we know he would be welcome.

elle i know when OH sent the forms off he crossed through the bit where he was meant to put his bank details and wrote that he will set up a standing order, he doesnt want them to have control over the amount cos he had an attachment of earnings put on there for arrears when he was out of work years ago, and overpaid by EIGHT HUNDRED POUNDS earlier this year cos they kept dragging their heels at telling his employer to take it off!! he doesnt trust them with his bank details and quite rightly so!

  • So Krystal can Em change that, her OH even? I really think it's out of order though, it would be like me and OH breaking up, him going with someone new and her expected to hand over a bit of her dosh for Keira! IT's maddening!

Oh yeah, CSA is obviously needed for the parents that don't want too pay or can't be bothered (my dad, though everytime my mum contacted the CSA he'd quit work!)
The old system is a complete nightmare, some blokes killed themselves over the amounts csa said they owed and there's no getting away from them... Csa 2 was a slightly fairer system, that's what I'm on... No idea about the newest changes... But you can't just change from one system to another... The parent with care has to close the actual claim, wait 6 weeks and then open a new claim.. Not all pwc's are willing to do that...

ooh coolio :) please don't be offended if I say they're too big tho :o Did you send the foot back? no rush just checking if I should be complaining about the postie or not ;)
Theyre the ones that are about the same size as passport photos if that helps... And the foot has been washed and put in the drawer lol, it will make it's way back soon, promise ;)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

You wouldn't necessarily receive all that though, Button.. It all goes into a big pot and then some is paid out to the parent with care. It's inflated to make up for the ones who don't pay up.. I think :o (or maybe I just heard that from one of the ranting and raving dads I have to deal with.. the ones who want me to "accidentially" lose their paperwork before I action it on the payroll system )
If that is true then it takes the p!!!

everyone watching Romeo & Julliet on CH4?? mmm sexy Capulets!!

I'll be the one in trouble. I'm the one ranting on about systems and randomness. I do like a rant about some things, yet with my girls i'm soft as anything.

Sorry 3, nothing personal, you helped me a while ago and it was appreciated. I'll save the rants until January when you are out of there :p
