So Krystal can Em change that, her OH even? I really think it's out of order though, it would be like me and OH breaking up, him going with someone new and her expected to hand over a bit of her dosh for Keira! IT's maddening!

Oh yeah, CSA is obviously needed for the parents that don't want too pay or can't be bothered (my dad, though everytime my mum contacted the CSA he'd quit work!)

they've taken my wages into account cos we asked them to for when i was on ML, cos i was getting MA and thats one of the benefits they allow you to pay a reduced CSA rate when you're in receipt of it, so cos they worked it out on my wages before they will continue to IYSWIM. also if i didnt tell them what i earn they are within their rights to assume that i earn the same as OH and therefore we can afford to pay more

My fairies can probably help you out with the keyrings if you can sort your own picture... Can't check now because the cats are locked up but give me a prod about it tomorrow...

Emlou's OH must be on the old system where they shafted everyone... I get CSA for Aimee but it gets taken straight from the wage packet because the man that can't be ar5ed to drive 5mins down the road to see the baby he created can't be trusted to pay anything towards her either...
ooh coolio :) please don't be offended if I say they're too big tho :o Did you send the foot back? no rush just checking if I should be complaining about the postie or not ;)

£170 is A LOT of money. I know they work it out on a percentage but does you having Seth not lower the amount you have to pay?

the annoying thing is, cos The Ex sits on her backside drawing benefits instead of working, she actually only gets £80 of what he pays! i told him to offer her £100 a month standing order instead of going through the CSA, that way she would have been £20 better off and would have been silly to say no, but nooo that would have involved contact

Now its been a while since I sold insurance, but it used to be 28 days from receipt of notification or 32 days after renewal as they have to allow a delay in posting unless it is emailed. Not every company worked with that though. If you do cancel and you are outside your cancellation period, then they will give you a refund of up to 90% of the money owed, but some only give you 60%. I would write a complaint and see where it takes you :)

i've had a unbelievably crap day.

we had a letter from the CSA to say that OH now has to pay £170 a month cos i'm back at work,

then i spoke to my car insurance company to find they have auto-renewed my policy but put it up by £10 a month

Ouch and ouch. I hope tomorrow is better for you. I also wouldn't call heating a luxury, but I understand it can be a mighty expense. Don't go cold though will you.
