my cats been poisoned

OMG how awful!! Of course that was deliberate, as if a kitten would go for a swim in petrol. He was very very lucky not to have been set alight, as some evil sh*t did to a cat near here. I hate letting my cat out, the biggest danger to cats is other people, whether they are driving too fast or not observing the road, being careless or thoughtless with poison, or simply being deliberately cruel. I try not to think about it too much or I'll work myself into a right lather.
OP you have the wonders of modern veterinary medicine to help Smudgey too - they can do so much these days. And if healing karma vibes exist, then Smudgey is certainly getting lots of those from us here.
agree about cruelty BUT dont have a go at drivers:mad: it cats that run across the road that get hurt and cause accidentsI

MORE TH>N Pet Saver
The quote above provides cover for as long as your pet needs treatment.
If you would prefer a lower level of benefits & you're happy to limit your cover for each claim to 12 months then
for only £9.59 per month / £115.08 per annum you can buy our MORE TH>N Pet Saver cover.
I just got a quote with them, as I'm toying with getting insurance for mine.
the 12-month policies are best avoided - and for roughly the same monthly cost you can find a better policy. i am sure someone said they did a quote for their cat with AXA and it was about £8 a month, for a proper 'for life' policy. OP - please shop around, lots advice on the insurance sticky at the top of the pet forum...and if you are confused by anything then just ask x
EDIT: i just did a quote for a 5 year old cat with AXA and it came out at £7.53 a month0 -

LOL it's drivers who run over cats. I'll say what I like, thanks all the same.0 -

Its a shame you are so far away my OH wanted to pay a visit to your neighbour!!! I really hope he gets what is coming to him but unfortunately I dont think it will ever be enough to fit the crime.
I will be thinking of her xxx0 -

so hope it doesn't come to that.
Lets hope if your neighbour did do this then karma pays him back good and proper at some point :mad:Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
there is definitely an opening for a hitman named 'karma'...0

I hope ur cat recovers ....and when karma reaches that b@!!!rd it hurts!0

Luvs and hugs to your poor little Smudgy. We have everything crossed here for a speedy recovery for her, she is such a pretty little thing

I hope the vet and the police are able to get some sort of result from their enquiries. Maybe if things go well for Smudgie you could ask the vet if he has seen any similar cases?
Someone out there needs to have the living daylights frightened out of them by either a visit from the police or something of that kind. Some people are really not fit to live in a civilised society. My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead
