Just phoned vets again,we can pick smudgy up a 16.10 ,Im going into town to buy her a litter tray etc as she hasnt used these for ages,im going to get her some new blankets toys ,either way im going to make sure she is as happy as possible for as long as she is able to stay with us, if love and 24hr care has anything to do with her getting better then she will be fine

Great news! Get the wood based cat litter pellets tiannaleigh,they're soo much better.Orbit got a tin of Tuna every Sunday for his dinner.If you have a Pets at Home neat you,their 'Purely' range is excellent!Especially their fish in jelly,Orbit loved it & he would'nt touch fish cat food ala Whiskas ect.

Brought tears to my eyes. I had a traumatic time at the vets a year ago.

I cannot understand why someone would harm an animal - but like you say, how are you going to prove it.

I second the advice re litter, ie use wood pellets rather than any sort of clay litter. Or you could investigage chick crumb as an alternative as it's non toxic.

Oh and don't give anything salty like ham or tuna. Sorry I'm preaching, I'm sure the vet will advise you what food to give and what to absolutely not give.
