at nutrecare Hills k/d pouches are 36 x85g for £20.69.. so thats 3060g in total - so I make that that 68p per 100g.. so Racy, your find is cheaper with the discount code!

But - anyone know more about this stuff??

    Ipakatine:
    http://www.nutrecare.co.uk/prod6.asp?prod_ID=1856&id=141&sub_cat=508&grpid=1661&page=Latest additions&offset=#prod_anchor

Never heard of Ipakatine FC, but it looks very interesting.

The only bit that bothers me is that one of the ingredients, chitosan, is derived from chitin which is a known allergen in some instances, so I'd want to know a lot more about the research done on Ipakatine and the chitosan derivative first.
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

Another question - how can you read my posts if you have me on ignore?

for the benefit of the OP, I feel sorry for you and your cat. I wouldn't wish thAT kind of suffering on any animal. There are however a lot of people who get mightily hacked off by cats using their gardens as litter trays. I was going to suggest that you kept your cats indoors but the witches obviously decided to leap on their broomsticks to attack me.

no, what you did was pick out one line from the OP's post and try to make her feel bad / attack her with a very unclever attempt at snideyness. you expressed no concern or sympathy and just thought you'd try and get a cheap shot in on someone who is quite obviously extremely upset and has had a few crappy few days. there was nothing constructive or helpful or anything positive about your post.

silly, pathetic, little coward man. please respect the OP and leave her thread now.

I've removed what I originally said as I'd lost my temper with the troll last night and said something I wish I hadn't, no matter what the provocation.

Lets all concentrate on Tiannaleigh, her daughter and most especially, little Smudgy.

Ipakatine is good but I have seen cats on it do even better when moved onto Renalzin, its easier to dose as well ;)

I'm reading this thread at 6am this morning because I"m worried about Smudgey and was wanting to know how she is getting on. Tiannaleigh, if you read this I hope she"s on the mend and am thinking of you. Just want to say that I'm horrified by some of the abuse I"ve just read. There is absolutely no need for it. iamana 1ias I'm contacting abuse as I don"t want to read this kind of thing first thing in the morning!!!

Put me on ignore (go on try it & give me some peace & get over your obsession), you will see a box in the top right hand corner which says "view post", you can view that post only.
Normally I don't view your rantings, but on this thread my toes curled when I saw your name & I knew it had to be your usual venomous spite.

    Ok, lets get started guys.

2 challenges for lovely little Smudgy

Challenge 1 - who is selling Hills K/d the cheapest at the moment?

Challenge 2 - Are there any alternatives to Hills K/d which the vet is likely to approve and which may be cheaper?

    I'll get us started

    Hills: Petmeds have 24 x 156g tins of Hills chicken K/d for £25.43 = about 68p per 100g.

Other: Royal Canin Renal S/o pouches in beef, chicken or tuna varieties are £30.02 for 48 x 100g pouches = about 63p per 100g. That is also with Petmeds

C'mon, someone can beat that, can't they?

    Edited to add
Hell I'm so slow! Everyone else has been posting good finds already while I've been dithering about trying to type :o

Not to mention peeps doing some excellent troll bashing, go get em MrsE and lowis and Yorkie and Snowy and everyone. :T

Plus a further 15% off if you use the code lowis found, hills15, at the checkout.

So 56p per 100g with 15% off voucher for Hills
and 54p per 100g for Royal Canin.

Someone find a better deal for tiannaleigh please?
