Thanked you by mistake. You can believe what you like love but that wasn't my intention

And why would you think I was male?

    Happens all the time.

Perhaps because you are so butch.

I do worry the way you stalk me, thats why I think you are male.

Lets not turn this into a thread where you bait people.
Why don't you go & find a thread where people want to engage with you?

Please do let us know what your vet says, keeping everything crossed for you.:)

I am so pleased for you and Smudgy. She looks as if she is getting a bit better if she's ravenous and beginning to play. Have a hug x

Good news indeed, perhaps the vet gave her steroid injections? That can stimulate the appetite I believe.
Fingers crossed she keeps well on the new diet.

  • Hi,after waiting all day for vets to call me back,I eventually came to the conclusion they had forgot,so I called them back and the receptionist had the vet phone me back within 5mins
Anyway I came of the phone a bit upset really, but thinking about it her odds are still the same as I was originally told,
I told the vet all excited how healthy smudgy seemed, and was playing and eating well, but she said this was expected ,as smudgy came of the drip yesterday it would take two days for the waste to build up due to her kidneys not filtering properly,so back to square one really, wait and see how it goes
  • I have tried to reply to this thread so many times and everytime i do someone knocks on the door i walk away and the kids have touched the lappy and the post has gone :rotfl:

I have been checking back on the thread to see how Smudgy is doing and even DD (3) has been asking after her, and her pic has had lots of kisses too ;):rotfl:

Keeping everything crossed for you and hope she makes a full recovery xx

I'm sorry, tiannaleigh, that must have been such a blow to you, but she's done well so far, and we're all sending her so much love and positive thoughts that if she can pull through this she will.

Love to you all and really hoping for the best xxx

  • Hi ,everybody, well I really think things are going to be o.k now, yesterday the vet said that smudgy's kidneys would build up after 2days of coming of the drip, well this morning is 2days and she is slightly stronger than yesterday, not worse, she is even trying to get me to let her out side, which of course im not allowing.
The vets did a really good job but it makes me slightly annoyed at them for originally giving me the choice of be put down now or come home for 24hrs and then be put down, If I had not phoned them back asking if I paid more money is there anything else they could do,she would not be here now,all I can think is they thought I couldnt afford the kidney diet and didnt want me feeling guilty,if that is the case I suppose there intentions were good.
Anyway I will keep you posted but I really think everything is going to be o.k she is even jumping onto the sofa with a spring in her step.im so happy
