I would recommend moo.com for business cards. I'm not affiliated with the site in any way shape or form - my other half has ordered cards from them and they look fab. Completely safe also.

I would second the praise for moo.com. They produce fantastic quality little business cards. (If you have an account with Flickr.com, as I do you can have your own photos put on the cards, too!).

I've only ordered one set of moo cards, but they were very easy to design on the website, good value for money and delivered fast.
• You have been conned! it is a con! please email Dom on dom@flametv.co.uk and tell him all about what has happened to you i have been emailing him and the more people who contact him about it the more chance there is of getting help. please also respond to me and tell me what has happend to you. I have more info but will tell more later.

Thank you for your time May
• You did not sign up vistaprint signed you up, they are signing people up as they are on commission!!!!!!
• Please let me know if you got a full refund as the exact same thing happend to me, I too share a credit card with my husband and we have been paying for 16 months unaware of it, total of £157.25!!! Im desperate to get my money back and have written to them to ask for a full refund although Im not too hopeful
• I purchased something with Vista print back in May 2008. It was not until yesterday whilst doing some filing of credit card statements that I noticed a re-occuring payment being taken out every month for VP rewards. Started as 9.95 and for the last four months is 11.95. I asked my husband what this was as I share the card with him and he did not know so we googled it and low and behold found out about this scam. We have inadvertantly paid £157.25p!!! Im shocked and astounded by this and it is definately a lesson in double checking your credit card statements and also communicating better with the sharer of the card if you so share. I have called VP rewards and they filled me with some rubbish about me clicking into this rewards scheme and saying they sent me two emails detailing how I could cancel - BUT I have never received these emails. I feel angry that I have been conned. If this was ligitimate then why do they not send out monthly emails telling you how many rewards you have accrewed and what you can use the rewards for. I have NEVER received an email from them - but they say they sent me two. Is it just my word against theirs? What can I do to get my money back and also stop this happening to others? Im desperate.

hmmm - yes, this happened to me too, but i received an email telling me that my first payment would be debited, and that i could cancel

i don't think my cancellation will be received in time to prevent the first month being debited, but there are a few things you could/shoud do ...

1) send an email to cancel@vprewards.co.uk stating your membership no, name, address, postcode and email address used for vp
2) if your payment is via credit card - consider cancelling your credit card, or requesting a new one - this would effectively make it impossible for them to collect their fee
3) if your payment is via your bank - cancel the dd/so
4) contact your local council - trading standards officer for any further advice available, to highlight the situation

personally, i bought some business cards, and i do remember being offered the option to join this scheme on a trial - but then forgot all about it ... The moral of the story - read everything carefully, be careful where you place your ticks, and remember to cancel where appropriate

hope this helps t

please get your facts right!! Cancelling the card will not help as this agreement was initiated albeit inadvertently (or in plain english...you did not read the terms and conditions!!) prior to the card cancellation, so your card provider will be obliged to accept charges and pass to your account.

1) Check cancellation section on webstes t&c's, if there is a tel no, email address, postal address...contact them and cancel the agreement that has been set up in your name. I promise you there will be something in their t&c's that advises that by continuing with your initial transaction you have given them authorisation to take money on an ongoing basis.

2) Advise you credit card provider of the date of cancellation (if it is written cancellation you don't need to wait for a response) and ask them to dispute any further transactions that may debit.

3) You will need to negotiate a refund with the retailer but there is no guarantee they will give you one (they may rely on the agreement you signed into and their t&c's which you accepted). It may be an expensive lesson learnt.

**Two points to note for future
i) READ TERMS & CONDITIONS
ii) CHECK ALL CREDIT CARD?BANK STATEMENTS ONCE A WEEK

I am shocked to discover that vprewards have taken £119.50 from my credit card in 10 payments of £11.45 since November last year! I hardly use my credit card and only discovered it by accident.

I had no idea I was subscribed to this and when I found this forum I rang the number provided here this morning. The lady told me I 'should read what I am signing' and they dont do refunds over the phone! I told her I had read about it on this site and loads of people were complaining about it and she said 'thats just peoples opinions' and insisted there would not be a refund given over the phone. She told me to email this address:

contact@vprewards.co.uk

and also write to this address:

vprewards
po box 587
Edgware
London
HA8 4DX

I asked if there was someone I could speak to directly on the phone and she said no. I am absolutely furious! I have received NOTHING for my £119.50 and feel this is a total scam! I mean they are obviously not making it clear enough on their site what people are ticking, or not ticking. Surely this is not legal? How have they been allowed to continue doing this?

"discovered by accident"????????????????
Check your credit card statements more than once in ten months!!! All the problems you have had could have sorted well before now if you monitored your accounts and dealt with the problem sooner. NOBODY is too busy to spend 5 mins checking their statements!!!

This happened to me 2 years ago. I paid for business cards with my RBS visa card and they took 3 month spayemtn for Vistaprint.

I contacted RBS and they blocked VPrewards and got my moneyback and monitored my account for another 3 months to ensure nothing further was taken. Only took one phonecall :)

Good luck!

Yes, well thanks for your comment, I have learned from that mistake. However, in fairness to me, the reason I wasnt checking my statemensts was that, as far as I was concerned, I wasnt USING my card! I am usually alot more careful. Alot of people have been caught out like this so I dont think it is just a case of me being stupid as your post implies. Thank you.
