  • i ordered business cards, magnetic signs and t-shirts several months ago from vistaprint for myself and my son, i believe i paid by paypal and certainly dont remember seeing anything strange on their website - to date i have not been charged anything that is unauthorised. Always use paypal if you can :)

i too have been a victim when ordering business cards from vista print in oct07 and initially thought the money comming out of my bank account was for my magazine subscription .the first year 9-95 was taken monthly the second year it went up to11.95 it is now 13.95. i have informed the bank and have tried telephoning the number on my bank statement for vprewards 0845 26 1100 who are taking the money but it is an automated system saying it does not recognise my details-strange because they have remained the same ,as they know as they continue to take the money from my account.i have no alternative than to change my account and hope the bank can help. i certainly did not sign up to any membership and will continue to try and get my money back
  • You know I am starting to take it personal from clubprem. From what I have seen everyone that complains gets their money back, except me. After complaining to the financial ombudsman I got a letter from lloyds card services. Which effectively says, "tough luck, get stuffed". Loads of rubbish about how it is possible to get signed up, a £15 credit to my account as a peace offering and a couple of paragraphs saying "stop bothering us". So it looks like I am going to sue them.

I too am now worried about this, having ordered a calendar off Vistaprint the other week...
I paid by Paypal, and have checked all emails from vistaprint and have certainly not got anything from vprewards - the only bits are my order details, vistaprint login and various follow up marketing emails. I also do not remember seeing anything about £10 cashback...

I have searched on the vistaprint website and the page previously quoted (first couple of pages) from the vp site under "help" about vprewards no longer exists but the vprewards site doe - is this scheme still running?

Has anyone on here figured out if there is a way of telling if you have been signed up before the amounts start coming out?

Appreciate any help xx Thanks in advance...
Thank you to all the compers!
  • I would like to be able to say that you won't get conned, unfortunately I can't. Sorry 'bout that. If you are concerned email vistaprint and ask them if they have passed your information on as you are concerned after hearing about the scam being run. If nothing else it helps builds a strong case against them later.
  • I have ordered something from vistaprint, but I dont have a clue if I have been scammed or not, it was only a few days ago I placed an order, but when the tracking number they gave me was too short I started to wonder if they were dodgy, so I googled them. Anyway after reading about them charging people 9.95 I dont want to wait to see my bank get charged. Is there a way I can find out if they have entered me into this free trial, so I can cancel before the 30 days are up?
  • Today I managed to press that dreaded Vistaprint Insider button and before you know it, you are an insider. I am pretty sure this was a bad idea even if it doesn't specifically say vp rewards, so I am trying to undo this move.

This is what it says on Vistaprint's own terms and conditions:
How to manage your account: If you wish to change your name, e-mail address, password, communication and/or opt-in preferences after you have registered, you can access your account by logging into My Account and selecting Account Update. You may also request these changes by contacting customer care at the vistaprint address /customer-care/contact-us dot aspx or calling Customer Care at 0800 496 0350 or writing to:

    VistaPrint Limited
    c/o VistaPrint USA Incorporated
    Customer Care
    95 Hayden Avenue
    Lexington MA 02421
    USA

I have used vistaprint lots of times and have generally been satisfied with their products, but always been aware that they are a slippery bunch. It is like entering a mind game with them. Be careful where you tread and you will be fine:)
  • Ok

I've just got on to this and to my shame they have taken probably about £100 before I've discovered it.

What I can't understand is how it's not been stopped.

They certainly give you the runaround, only found a number on here the website well it's on there somewhere?

And if you do get through they kindly offer to cancel it, well that's good of them isn't it.

The vista scam site is a good idea, but what would really pee them off is if we could get it up the search engine so people found it when googling.

So I'm going to socially bookmark it and if other people link to it so it gets backlinks it could outranked their official site LOL

They are quietly making millions has it been on watchdog yet? Is this a good story for Martin? Just imagine it on GMTV, they would have to stop after that wouldn't they. :T
  • Hello,

I ordered wedding invitations from VP a couple of months ago.

As far as I'm aware, they haven't taken any money for the VPRewards, but when do these payments normally kick in? Immediately or after a few months?

I check my online banking regularly, but a bit worried that I may have accidently fallen into a trap....
