We have been trying to get a refund for nearly 9 months now as they have been debiting £10 a month from my credit card -after my husband got free business cards- I stupidly didnt realise until its been going on for about 15 months!
They promise a refund then come up with another excuse.
Cannot go through small claims route as cant get a UK address for them.
Anyone have a UK postcode for them please?0 -
hello
well i have ordered some business cards today from vistaprint...i looked all over as i was going through the checkout..i couldnt find anywhere to opt in or that mentioned any of these things...is it still happening? and how would i stop it??
thanks0 -
I noticed that they were taking money from my account - twice in one month. I recall doing a post purchase survey so they must have signed me up to this membership scam.
There are loads of negative blogs about Vistaprint - just google it.
What I did: (and what I would advise all to do is..)
1. Rang my bank who cancelled my card and will do what they can to refund the money
2. Emailed Amazon outling the serious fraud being carried out by their advertiser and how damaging it is for their reputation
3. Emailed Vistaprint about 8 times - I don't think any will be replied to but at least its action.
4. The Vistaprint CEO is Robert Keane in the US. There is no available email address for him but he is listed as an alumni of INSEAD - and they have an email address. Bombard INSEAD with emails with the nature of the complaint and asking them to forward to him.
He does interviews saying how wonderful the company is. Interesting angle.
I have considered turning up at their supposed office in Edgeware but I am guessing its just an empty office space....?
No phone number works for them and no emails are answered. The lesson here is - NEVER ever deal with a faceless organisation. If a company purposely do not provide contact details then caveat emptor.
Go pay a small local printer for your business cards, invites etc - you are supporting the community not lining the pockets of a trumped up CEO in the US.....and it will probably work out cheaper in the end as no scams attached (they give lots of options with types of paper and print that can work well and reduce costs).
USE Vistaprint at your peril - don't say you haven't been warned. Plus they got my order wrong and added on extra VAT at the end ie when i had input my card details. Sly...0 -
i seem to remember when this happened to my son and we contacted trading standards that we discovered the business is registered in bermuda'We're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time0

Vistaprint: They are still operating. I got a flyer offering a Photo Wall Calendar for £0.99.
The first strange thing I noticed was that they marked 10 out of 13 of my photographs as having poor resolution. These photos were all taken at the beach on a sunny day, with a Canon IXUS 800 set at highrset resolution and largest size.
When returning to the Vistaprint website via a Google search, I noticed 'Vista Scam' - so was alerted to this thread.
I think I'll skip the offer and print my own.0 -
It might be trying a search on onemansblog.com. It sems Vistaprint are NOT connected to Adaptive Affinity anymore
He wrote:
UPDATE: Stop the presses! VistaPrint is NOT threatening to sue me! Their Ex-partner Adaptive Affinity Ltd is!
After putting out a tweet regarding this post I was contacted by Jeff Esposito from Vistaprint who very politely informed me that his company was not the ones behind the threatening letter you will read below. After doing some research he found that VistaPrint used to partner with Adaptive Affinity to offer some subscription based services, however they ended that affiliation some time back.
Apparently some customers were inadvertently subscribing to these third party services, there was a class action lawsuit, the lawsuit was dismissed, and VistaPrint decided it was no longer in their best interests to offer these programs.

HMMM well not as stupid as i feel!!....ive just found out the same thing but going on for 3 flippin years!!! ranging from 3.95 in the 1st month then a tenner a month till jan 2010 when it rose to 15.95!!!
Bank can't do anything and just said i should have read the small print...fair enough but i only wanted business cards that i paid £3 for. Just to add, back then there wasn't no fancy options for any extra service, and even if there was, i wouldn't have accepted it!!
Anyways, i cancelled the vprewards last weekend and today i couldnt get through to a person till i did the 000 thing on 08456722002....where i eventually spoke to an asian man and said it was out of order taking money out of my account for such a long time with no confirmation or emails etc about the service!!
3 years=36 months and was only able to get a measley 18months, a couple of hundred less than what i'm owedthats if and when i actually get the refund....
Has anybody over the 18m period got a FULL refund?
WATCCHHHHDOOOOOOOOGGGGG???!!! :money:0 -

So how did you miss the fact this money was coming out of your account for 3 years. Do you not check bank statements? credit card bills?
Don't contact watchdog, you'll only make a fool of yourself.0
