  • Sorry I was not clear. I made a purchase in May last year and ever since have been bombarded with E-mails from Vistaprint - even got one today which has p'd me off! I was not even opening the emails as I did not want to buy anything else and the man on the other end of the phone agreed with me and said why would I pay a fee and then not continue to buy products telling me I must have been unaware of what I had done and that he would refund me. I will leave it a bit and phone him again. This is obviously going to take up a lot of time but its a principal thing and I am keen to write to Womens mags, papers, watchdog etc if I am not satisfied because it could still be happening to loads of folk as I am writing this.

It would seem the Daily Mirror have been aware of this, interesting:

The same thing happened to us. Having been promised a refund and indeed received a partial refund, we received a similar e-mail from VPRewards. So we phoned the 0800 number, and they said that they couldn't understand why we'd been sent this. They supposedly instructed VPRewards to refund us but we had to phone a further two times before we got the money.

My advise is not to deal with VPRewards direct but to keep on at the 0800 number, and whilst they're promising you a refund try not to be get uptight with them.

Ok now I am confused (and decidedly annoyed!) I was told by a lady at vista print that I will be getting a full refund, however I got this email from vprewards today:

So....am I getting a refund or not? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGHHH!!!
  • I too have just found out that I have been paying £13.95 a month since last Nov....... for absolutely nothing.

I shall be on the phone first thing tomorrow morning.

I still have the original e mail from VP and it says nothing about a monthly subscription.

    Very sly and underhanded.

On the plus side, I was pleased with their products but if I don't get a refund it makes them exceedingly expensive.
  • To my horror, I found out I have been paying 2 subscriptions of £13.95 per month since last Dec. That's an expensive calendar!1
  • Want to get some business cards but bit scared by this?

Is it a case that vistaprint sign you up for this regardless or do you need to just be careful what you click on?

Just boycott them out or principle, due to their operating practices with their reward scheme. Give your custom to someone more reputable. If everyone did this then they'd soon clean up their act.
  • Just to update. I was lucky and got a full refund last week, all £155. So very pleased and will be alot more careful when buying stuff online from now on! Last time I use Vista Print thats for sure! :o
