Thanks for this.
I've now received 2 emails, the first promising me a full refund in 3-4 working days, the second saying I can't have a refund.
I called the 0800 number above and was told they couldn't help me and to call the 0845 number. I called that and couldn't get through the sutomated system as I've cancelled my membership. So I called 0800 again, spoke to a lovely man, explained the problem and he said they have a policy of refunding people and that I can expect a full refund soon and that another email will be sent confirming this.
btw I've sent emails to BBC's watchdog and also Consumer Direct informing them about this and the vast amount of people that have been effective. I think I'll also talk to my MP as I think it's awful the way they trick people and a law needs to be tightened up here - I work for the Chamber of Commerce and know that 'customer not present' card transactions are and easy way of defrauding people and this is basically what they're doing.
So fingers crossed and now I wait!0 -
Can anyone help me! I have just discovered that a company called high street max, which seems to be connected to vista print and vprewards have been taking money from my account since last Feb. Maybe longer. I have online banking and paper free documents, so never noticed as i was ill. Tried to phone them but got the run-a-round. Help. Got my C

I have used Vistaprint.co.uk last year and today my wife checked her bank and noticed money taken out by rewardsnow.co.uk and quickcreditscore.co.uk both £29.95 this then put her overdrawn. We have contacted the bank and their fraud department are looking into it. I used my account on vistaprint so quickly checked my statements and not had a problem, so we dont know how they got my wife's bank details. Anyway after searching the net came across a lot of scams involving this comapny and tracked down a uk address:
Registrant's address:
Cavendish House
369 Burnt Oak Broadway
Edgware, Middlesex
HA8 5AW
GB
Also a freephone number 08000288251
Will now be contacting them tomorrow demanding a refund. But with looking into in more detail it is owned by an American company which apparently rakes in $650mil
a year through this scam and is the subject to several legal actions. So would advise anyone to phone the freephone number and demand a refund as well as contacting the OFT. this company also uses company logos from many high street companies to convince people to use them, most of these companies don't even know their logos are being used so might be worthwhile contacting those companies too and they will take legal action and hopefully bring this scam to an end.
My wife thinks she got scammed through a free credit check, which I signed upto too so will be keeping a good eye on my account for now to try and narrow it down.0 -
Hi Rougetrooper74,
I have recently been given a full refund from Vista Print Rewards for just over £300 that was taken over a year. I had a long battle with the people at Edgware they are NOT helpful at all and sent me round in a verbal loop.
My advice is to phone the American number which I have on my special forum purely set up to solve everyones problems with Vista Print Rewards. I have all of the genuine solution on there with numbers to phone etc and what to say and what NOT to say. You must MUST be careful with what you say to them otherwise you won't get a penny back.
I can't post my forum link on here due to the rules but if you e-mail me NORRIE3699@HOTMAIL.COM I'd be happy to provide you the link, all I ask from you or anyone who goes to my forum is to register and share the problems you have with Vista Print so we can help many others.
Thankyou

AMEX have provided me with an address and phone number for Adaptive Affinity/Vistaprint Rewards in Edgware - so if anyone requires it, please let me know. I will be on the phone to them on Monday (if they answer and are not in meetings as per their answer phone message!)
I am not sure if this is Vistaprint knowingly signing people up to a scheme without getting their express consent or whether it is poor web design/communication/understanding of legalities (DSR etc) of online retailing - but clearly they need to be made aware that they need to improve how they handle customers credit card details and pass them to affiliate companies. Like many, we were pleased with the print products but will not be buying from them again.
I had trouble with an unauthorised regular payment being taken on my credit card (not Vista - this was something totally different). I asked my CC company to cancel the payments and, like yours, they said they couldn't do that - only the company concerned could.
So I worked myself up into a grouchy mood - then phoned the CC company and reported that my card had possibly been stolen as I couldn't find it and got them to cancel and re-issue a new card which effectively stopped the payments being taken again. Possibly a bit devious - but , at my age, I reckon I am entitled to mistakenly think I've lost my card or had it nicked!ELITE 5:2

We have just fallen victim of this too and have no idea of how we got signed up for it.Phoned my bank and they confirmed we bought something for £6 over a year ago.
So 12 months at £9.99 has been taken and this month it had gone up to £11.95.
We phoned the number we were given and as we had no membership number used our email address to get scam stopped. They also said they will refund....not holding my breath though.
The reason why we didn't notice it was that it is a visa card rarely used in which we only get a statement if we log on.
Why is this practice allowed to go on?0 -
Jaffacake, yes I got a whole year and a bit refunded to me, to find out how e-mail me NORRIE3699@HOTMAIL.COM I am unable to post my forum link on here to my specially set up forum for the Vista Print nightmare.0

Well I am now a victim of this and I have to say I am not getting a happy ending so far. For the last 4 months I have attempted to stop clubprem from stealing from me. clubprem won't talk to me unless I give them an account number, or my full name, address and credit card number. As far as I am concerned they already have more information than I am willing to give out.
What further amazes me is that the bank won't stop it happening. I contacted my card provider and they said that as it was a continious payment that had been set up it would be considered a violation of a payment agreement to be able to stop it. The fact that it is, as far as I am concerned, fraudulant seems not to matter. The bank has basically told me "tough luck" and won't even stop the card.
As far as I can see I am left with going to the offices and banging on the door until someone speaks to me, or sueing. Anyone know a good lawer?0 -
