We finally got all of our money back, although we had to be persistent!0

I would recommend moo.com for business cards. I'm not affiliated with the site in any way shape or form - my other half has ordered cards from them and they look fab. Completely safe also.0

I am shocked to discover that vprewards have taken £119.50 from my credit card in 10 payments of £11.45 since November last year! I hardly use my credit card and only discovered it by accident.
I had no idea I was subscribed to this and when I found this forum I rang the number provided here this morning. The lady told me I 'should read what I am signing' and they dont do refunds over the phone! I told her I had read about it on this site and loads of people were complaining about it and she said 'thats just peoples opinions' and insisted there would not be a refund given over the phone. She told me to email this address:
contact@vprewards.co.uk
and also write to this address:
vprewards
po box 587
Edgware
London
HA8 4DX
I asked if there was someone I could speak to directly on the phone and she said no. I am absolutely furious! I have received NOTHING for my £119.50 and feel this is a total scam! I mean they are obviously not making it clear enough on their site what people are ticking, or not ticking. Surely this is not legal? How have they been allowed to continue doing this?

Update: just spoke to 'khalelah' at vista print, and she has promised me a full refund of £155.25 (more than I thought). She told me the first lady I spoke to earlier was wrong to tell me they dont give over the phone refunds! Very apologetic and said vp are aware of the forums and are trying to address the issue so people dont get mislead anymore. Now just to wait 4-5 working days and see if my refund appears....0

Can you give me the number you used for this, The contact number I have is totally useless.
I take it the VPRewards scam forum has been hit by VP's lawyers as it seems to have disappeared??0 -
The number we used is 0800 028 8251. I believe that this is a Vista Print number and you're likely to get a better response than going to VPRewards direct.
If anyone is ever refused a refund, quote Jeff Esposito's promise of a full refund to anyone who is not happy. Then ask them whether their refusal means that Mr Esposito was lying or are they are acting contrary to company policy.0 -

OMG I can't believe I didn't realise that I have been paying for 14 months, but I have a shared credit card and just assumed it was my husband paying to something. I first phoned a UK no and got nowhere, didn't help that I was angry when I phoned but she was ready for me which straight away made me suspicious. Then I look on here! I phoned the number in America and spoke to David who told me the date I accidentally hit the button agreeing to a membership. He basically told me he could see I had done it in error because I hadn't purchased anything. I have been assured of a full refund so let wait and see!0

Good luck with that. But out of curiosity, how did they obtain your credit card details if you didn't purchase anything?0 -
Ok now I am confused (and decidedly annoyed!) I was told by a lady at vista print that I will be getting a full refund, however I got this email from vprewards today:
'
Dear Helen,
Thank you for your email received on 13 August 2009 regarding how you became enrolled in the VPRewards membership scheme. Below is a brief explanation of this process.
Your membership record indicates that you agreed to try VPRewards when you clicked on a banner ad presented on the Vista Print website after an order was placed. This banner offered a £10 Cash-Back and also a 30 free trial with VPRewards.
Additionally, by accepting the trial membership, you agreed to be enrolled and that after the trial membership period, you would be billed the program fee.
A welcome e-mail was sent to the e-mail address you provided at the time of enrollment. This e-mail would have also explained the terms of the membership as well as the benefits you are entitled to.
A second email would also have been sent to the same email address within 3 weeks of the free trial period giving the option to opt out of this membership prior to the billing date given on this email. If this had been done then no membership fee would have been charged to the debit/credit card account and your membership would have been cancelled.
I can confirm that your membership has been cancelled. Unfortunately your request for a refund has been declined as the terms and conditions were accepted which clearly stated you have a 30 day trial period in which to cancel the membership should you not wish to continue with the service. These terms were confirmed to you twice by email during the 30 day free trial as explained above.
Yours Sincerely
Carl Green
