• Hi,

you can email them at
membersavings@clubprem.com or
membersavings@vprewards.com
this is what i did - u get a automated reply then u should get a email saying they have cancelled ur membership and expect a refund within 2 business days. just tell them they have been taking unauthorised amounts from your account and u want it returned.

• .hi i too have been caught went into my bank and have had 9.95 taken have been busy looking after my husband and sister inlaw so havent been as vigilant as i should be ,but they have been taking 9.95 from my account since jan i only ordered a calander last dec when i phoned i was told that i got one month free then would be charged 9.95 after that when i told her i havent signed up for it she told me i got an email offering me the month free i told them i do not recall recieving any such email she offered to cancel my membership and to refund 2 months money when i asked for a full refund i was told they only do 2 months money is tight as you can imagine so wasnt very happy. is there any way i can get a full refund
• You guessed it, yet another victim of this dubious site (Vistaprint/VPRewards).
I've just discovered that I am yet another person who unknowingly is having 9.95 per month (at different dates) removed from my account on a regular basis.
So after discovering this forum amongest many other sites all complaining about this scam, I followed the initial advice of going to my bank (ABBEY) and guess what, you guessed it, not very helpful at all. They say that there is no way they can stop payments coming out of my a/c due to the fact that VPREWARDS seem to have aquired not only my debit card details but also my A/C details and the banking system will treat this as though you (The customer) have just made this purchase as you would just as though you were buying petrol or your shopping!
The bank did let me use their phone to speak to someone in the fraud section but not much help there, advie given was to basically close my a/c (Totally) and then they could open a new a/c for me and of course I would have to wait for the new details and new cards, on line banking etc which could take up to 3 weeks.
Well that's helpful! NOT!
Another option was presented to me by my bank which is equally as crap, which involves providing evidence that money is being taken fraudulently from my a/c and then furnishing my bank with that proof, then and only then will they be a fraud alert on my a/c and then open a new a/c for me, then of course I have to contact the companies that I have DD's with and have to reset them up. OH JOY!

So I've taken some advice by firstly emailing VPREWARDS to cancel my supposed subscription and requesting a refund in full. That I did today, so I'm currently awaiting a reponse and will let others know in due course just how I get on! But I'm not holding my breath.
I'll finish by saying that I've been in computing for many years involved very heavily in getting rid of viruses and trojans etc and normally being ahead of the game, all I can suggest is that due to the very nature of the fact that so many people have been caught by this scam I would strongly advise people who use any ON LINE CARD PAYMENT should at the very least do a search in "GOOGLE" to at least see if there is any current problems with the company you are about to do business with.
This scam is very clever purely by the deceptive way it is being carried out and they seem to have found a potentially huge loophole in the UK law. BUYER BEWARE>
• THIS WAS YESTERDAY. I noticed money missing from my account on Saturday 27th September when my son and I wanted to go to the pictures. I know £9.95 doe not sound like a lot but as I am on benefit it meant we had to scrimp on foodstuffs while we were out. It nearly ruined the day. enough of the sob story!
Having discovered the culprit, I promptly rang Vistaprint this morning on the 0845 6722002 number and spoke to someone called Briya Sharma. I explained that I had not signed up for this monthly scheme or payment and she told me I had as I had opted to fill in the reward box when I last purchased an item from them. Anyway, she said she would refund my money and cancel my membership. Let’s hope so.
I have just this minute received an email from membersavings@clubprem.com stating that my membership has now been cancelled. That was quick. I hope my refund goes in just as quickly. The woman said 7-10 days

.......................
Well….they did it again. Under the name of Clubprem, Vistaprint have taken another £9.95 out of my account. I feel like screaming. In fact I nearly ended up doing the same when I called the same number again today to speak to Briya Sharma who just so happens to be ‘off’ today. This time I spoke to a rather insipid personality called Natalie Kulka who told me she was proud to be working for such a firm. Well done her then!! My money won’t be refunded because ‘I owe it to them’apparently. Yesterday’s refund was a goodwill attempt, but she did confirm that BOTH my memberships of Clubprem and VP rewards (which I did not know I had) were cancelled and she confirmed - if that’s possible - that no further payments would be taken. I’ll have to wait and see. I don’t want my debit card to be cancelled. I’ll report back if and when I get the one refund.
• Hmmm im not sure about all this being illegal or not. Does sound a bit suspicious though.

BUMP
• Noticed 2 payments of £9.95 on my credit card bill. one for WARD.COM and the other for for PREM.COM 2 days later.

Seems that when my husband ordered some business cards they offered him some special offer and he clicked on it but then they asked for billing information and so he closed the window down immediately without providing any billing information. What he didn't realise was that just by clicking the link he was signing up for the service (somehow he got signed up for 2 services), and that Vistaprint would use the credit card details they already had for him.

Anyway he phoned up the Prem club on 0845 026 1100 and they said they would refund one of the payments as a 'goodwill gesture'. He then called Vista customer services on 0800 028 8251 and got the other one refunded.

Although we are both really annoyed that they did this, he took the stance of playing dumb and being polite and it seemed to work for him.

It does seem really outrageous they can get away with this, but I suppose that is how they manage to offer such cheap deals by banking on the fact that not everyone will check their statements and so they can keep taking the monthly payments.
• Does anyone know if Vistaprint is owned by Windows Vista?
