• Some of you may have seen posts on various forums regarding another alleged scam involving an outfit called "PTI Europe Region".
A google search will turn up details of it.
Interestingly, the phone number appearing on the statement alongside PTI Europe Region is the same as the phone number appearing alongside VP Rewards on my statement.
When you phone the number (0845 026 1100) you have the choice of entering your “membership number”; your home phone no (!) or your credit card number (!!!).
• OK i contacted this so called "clubprem.com" and they asked me my details name address n all that etc. then i told them that i have been charged for a service that i have not used and they said my account has now been canceled and my money (£9.95) will be refunded back into my account within the next 7-14 days.
I said to them that my card has been canceled and if they could transfer the money straight to my account as i canceled my card to stop any more payments going to them, they said the bank will re direct my money to my account.

the call lasted around 1 min (they're probably use to it now) now i'm going to wait to see if the money does come back into my account.

i called this number: 08456722002

I'm afraid I'm another victim, I did actually order some business cards and the free silver holder to go with them! some time last year. I have never received either and they have never responded to one of the many e-mails I have sent asking where they are. Then just to add insult to injury they have been taking £9.95 every month since and my bank says that because I used my debit card it is not classed as a DD and they cannot stop it. If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear them. On the bright side once I have all my charges back on the three accounts with the bank, together with the ones on the credit card and the mis-sold PPP I'm going to close the account and that should snooker them

Cancel your card & get a new one reissued. This should stop further payments going as the card details will have changed. If nothing else the issue number will change & probably the CV2 on the back. You should then be able to recall any future payments as the card is cancelled.
• I too have been targeted by Vista Print.

I am a pensioner and September 2007 received an e-mail offering me business cards free of charge! Like an idiot I ordered a little box of personal cards in mine and my husband's names, plus took the additional offer of some name and address stickers for approx. £1.50. All I had to pay on top of this was the P&P, so I paid a total of £7.16 for what I felt was a good deal!

I have been quite ill for this last year and hadn't noticed that two amounts of £9.95 have been going out of my bank account regularly each month since October 2007, one for VPREWARDS.COM and the other for CLUBPREM.CO, totalling £159.20! I know it sounds ridiculous that this went unnoticed, but it shows on the bank statement with the last four numbers of my debit card, so it appeared like a regular shopping expense. I wonder just how many other people are unaware that this is happening.

The guy from Vista Print told me on the phone this evening "people just don't read everything when they order, it clearly states that you are signing up for their club offers within 30 days of placing the order". !!

Well I certainly didn't notice any such statement, I certainly wouldn't have given them my tiny order. I didn’t receive any e-mail advising that they would be taking any money out of my bank account, I would have leapt on it straight away. The guy at Vista Print didn't offer any explanation as to why they conned me for two of these scams.

My bank instantly knew who I was talking about before I had any idea who was taking my money, not only that, they knew the freephone number of Vista Print straight off the top of their heads as they say they are getting calls like mine all the time. The disgraceful thing is that the bank cannot stop them taking your money due to the method of payment in the first place. So the only way it can be stopped is by you contacting these con artists yourself to cancel. These criminals really know how to play the game, the mind boggles at how much interest they are receiving from all the money they con from people like myself.

Having had to call them a second time this evening to chase up my refund (as the promise of the refund last week didn't happen and they’ve taken another two amounts since the first call), I am hoping and preying that they will keep their word and refund now. I am very worried after reading that many haven't got their money back.

They are sneaky, however, you did have the option of opting out.
• Trouble is I didn't know I'd joined up for anything or realised this money was being taken, so the option of opting out didn't come into the equation.
The stress of all this meant no sleep at all last night and I ended up on my PC until 7.30 this morning researching more and more. I posted my story on every site possible and e-mailed it to anyone and everyone I discovered. Having watched a couple hours TV, got back onto the PC, where I still am at midday. It’s really scarey that they can do this to people, I feel physically sick.
Anyway, after yet more calls this morning I eventually ended up calling Customer Services at Adaptive Affinity on 0845 672 2002 and spoke to what seemed to be a nice guy called Mark Bright. He was incredibly polite, and based in Edgware (unlike rude Omar in the States, who you get on the freephone number of 0800 028 8251). Turns out that I was lied to yet again last night, Mark confirmed that the two suspect accounts had been cancelled, but there was no mention of any refund whatsoever! He promised me that he put the request through to the States whilst we were speaking and has also promised to call me back before the close of play today to confirm everything going through.

Cant believe the threads I have read here!! I saw this VP REward on my credit card bill last month - ignored it and then saw it again this month. Now I have not bought anything off vista print for about 3 years as I get all my business stationery elsewhere now so I definitely did not sign anything, so I think they are targetting all customers regardless of when they purchased anything....
good news for me is that as it was on my credit card, i am getting the money back from my cr card company and they are cancelling my card and issuing me with a new one so at least these pirates cant take anymore money from me.....is anyone doing anything to sort this company out?? have they been reported to trading standards?

Hi all,

Sorry to see so many of your being duped.

I've read an article about this type of payment (robbery). The advice given on the other article was that people should cancel the credit/debit card these charges are being drawn from. And it would also appear that the best way to cancel your card is to "lose" it. On the back of your card you will find a 24hr number to report your lost/stolen card. Your card should be cancelled immediately. It's probably a quicker way than actually cancelling it. I know this may not be exactly completely ethical afterall it's not the banks fault but then when ever have banks been ethical!

This type of payment method seems to be so easy to abuse I wonder why it is still allowed! What exactly does this method of payment offer that isn't offered by Direct Debit or Standing Order?

• Looking at this forums about Vista is just sad, just realised that I have been charged wrongly from CLUBPREM.COM and hopefully they will credit my account.

But Someone have to stop this fraudsters.

I recommend everyone to send a email to some of the Board of Directors at VistaPrint, they are owned by several VC's.

Here are the email on two of the directors of VistPrint
George Overholser
george.m.overholser@northhillventures.com
Daniel Ciporin
dciporin@canaan.com

My suggestion si that everyone sends a email telling about how tired we are of the VistaPrint SCAM and hopefully that will have an effect on how VistaPrint do their business angry-smiley-030.gif
