  • I recently accepted an offer for free pens, branded with my company logo from Vistaprint. I gave my credit card info on-line for £3 postage. Fair enough. Just received my cc statement. With a bit of investigation, it turns out Vistaprint gave my cc info to three other orgs- Shopper Discounts, ClubPrem.com, VPRewards. Between them they have taken £27.90 without my authority. Can they do this? My credit card co has said they will investigate .Also beware of Vistaprint. Neil:mad:

There are a lot of threads on here about Vistaprint, this is just one of them:-

Check it out, there should be lots of useful info there for you.

  • I have noticed over several months that Vistaprint have been taking money from my bank account. The amount started at £9.95 per month and has increased to £13.95. After lots of investigation work I finally had a breakthrough today as to where the money was going. At no time had I given this company permission to raid mt bank account and was completely unaware of any rewards scheme, I just thought I was getting good products at great prices!!! Anyway, I contacted Vistaprint today and informed them that I wanted a refund, at no point did they question my reasons for this and at this moment in time I am waiting for 11 months worth of payments to be returned to me, I shall let you know if this arrives. Finally please all check any bank statements if you have ever dealt with this company and the best number to contact them on is 0845 672 2002. Good luck.
  • Following my posting on 20/03/08 Herewith an update.
When I phoned clubprem I was told they would refund my 3 involuntary payments in seven days. I had my credit card statement yesterday and the refund isn't there. So I phoned them again today and was told it would be refunded urgently. I will be really annoyed if the refund isn't on my next statement. Small claims court next! What a scam. Any ideas as to how we can publicly expose them?

With this message, maybe the money saving expert team/Martin(?) could help expose the scam? I have already reported it to BBC's Watchdog and will expose Vistaprint to other media when I get around to it. I'm thinking of a public burning on Brighton beach of the print work they did for me.
  • thanks for posting the names of Vista's Directors. Here's a copy of my email to them:-

<<Vistaprint has passed my credit card details onto three other organisations who have stolen from me.

    I am furious.

In a phone call to Sheleena(?) at Vistaprint yesterday, I received no reassurance that I would be refunded.

I trusted Vistaprint and as my little company is growing I was intending becoming a loyal customer. Not any more.

As Directors of Vistaprint, will you please take action to ensure that my stolen money is refunded within 3 days? I look forward to your reply within 24 hours.>>
  • In respect to previous posts.

Its no good writing to directors of VISTAPRINT they know about this scam and are no doubt lining there pockets in bonuses and profit.

It needs mass exposure to this scam so I would say either Martin and his team or as many as people as possible contact Watch Dog.

This needs to be stopped especially as a previous thread details a pensioner getting scammed its discraceful!!

I wonder how many it would need. People have been contacting Watchdog over this for years but still nothing. Maybe they don't see it as TV worthy.

  • I discovered last night that I've been caught out by this too.

I have been in contact with Vistaprint (Tel 0800 028 8251) and was told that when I placed the order I would have clicked a pop up window or a link signing up to the Rewards Scheme. Well I know for sure I didn't, and told them so. So they cancelled the membership I supposedly signed up for, and gave me a reference number and another telephone number to call to arrange a full refund. That tel number is 0845 672 2002. I've been told the money will be back in the account within 3/4 working days. There didn't seem to be any dispute about this, although I felt there was going to be on the first phone call, until I pointed out that I have pop-ups disabled on my pc and would not click a link without being sure what it was. So fingers crossed the money will appear shortly. My expected refund is £109.45 - note to self .... start checking bank statements on a regular basis!

Incidentally, I tried emailing in the first instance because I had seen posts on this thread saying the offices were only open 1-5pm. The emails bounced back, and I sorted all this out on the phone at 10am so it looks like the phones are manned for longer now.
  • I was also caught out by Vistaprint. Although I probably accepted their conditions without realising it I never received an email from them with user ID or logon details.

I decided to cancel my Visa (Co-op) card to stop these transactions and was told by a member of their staff that it wouldn't make any difference. Even though it is MY account if I closed it everytime they applied for the £9.95 she said it would re-open the account as I had inadvertantly agreed to 'continuous billing'

I have now had an email from ClubPrem saying the account is closed. I will never shop with Vistaprint again and will be closing my Visa card account with Co-op too.
  • We also have been scammed by Vistaprint. We ordered some free business cards recently and when I checked our statement found that CLUBPREM.COM had taken £9.95 from the account. We had not knowingly signed up for any CLUBPREM membership, and were really angry to have been sacammed like this. I googled CLUBPREM.COM and found this forum about how a lot of other people had the same problem. I have now emailed Vistaprint and asked for this to be sorted out. We have also taken note of the phone number and I will ring them on Tuesday to try and get the refund.

I know several people who have used Vistaprint for thier cards and will warn them about the scam involved. But we will never use this site again for any business cards.

I feel this should be mentioned on Watchdog to warn everybody about the potential dangers of being subscribed to CLUBPREM.COM.
