I got to speak with a friendly chap called Mark, I was expecting a mission but was plesently suprised. Mark explained what had happened and told me the staff had a meeting to discuss this issue as lots of customers had made complaints. It took 5 minutes and Mark said if I had any more problems I should call him back. That number again is 0845 672 20020

Ages ago I had this issue (dont remember agreeing to rewards scheme)
Immediately I saw payment I contacted them and received my refund with no problem.
I still continue to deal with Vista as I think they are value for money.0 -
Great - I've been done by VP too!!!
Will be calling them on Monday to demand a refund. I certainly know I did not sign up to anything of the sort.
Grrrrrrrrr

I noticed 2 payments on my CC Bill this month for £9.95 each from VPREWARDS.COM
I rang the Freephone Vistaprint Customer Helpline above, I stated my case calmly and they have promised a full refund of the 5  payments taken since my intitial order for personalised christmas calenders @ £62.35p
Bloody Cheek.
I'll let you know if they keep their word. :undecided0 -
Thank you so much to this thread. I didn't want to post earlier as I was embarrassed that VPRewards.com had been taking money from me for the past 12 months without me even noticing. However, I rang the number about 10 days ago and without any fuss they said they would refund it. I've just noticed on my statement, twelve credits from them.
Thanks so much.... over £120 reclaimed. :j0 -
Following my posting on 20/03/08 Herewith an update.
When I phoned clubprem I was told they would refund my 3 involuntary payments in seven days. I had my credit card statement yesterday and the refund isn't there. So I phoned them again today and was told it would be refunded urgently. I will be really annoyed if the refund isn't on my next statement. Small claims court next! What a scam. Any ideas as to how we can publicly expose them?0 -
I had a similar experience.
I ordered some business cards with VistaPrint a month ago and must have ticked some box I shouldn't have ticked. I was deluged with spam emails and deleted them. A month later, I got an email from ClubPrem saying that my 'free trial' was now over and that I would have to pay £9.95 a month. Er, no thank you.
ClubPrem's emails never include your membership number, which you need to log in to your account. You have to go to their website, which intructs you to send them an email or call them. I didn't want to send them an email in case they replied when it was too late to not pay the first instalment. So I called them.
Phone call 1. Called the agent, got through immediately. But here's the catch. I never asked him to cancel my membership, because he didn't let me. When he found my details he just said, 'OK, I have cancelled your membership and you'll get a confirmation email. Bye bye'. Phone call over.
Two hours later and no email. Obviously the guy had reassured me that my membership would be deleted, but he hadn't actually deleted it. So, as I am a cynical, suspicious feller, I called again...
Phone call 2. Called. Ring ring. No reply.
So I called again....
Phone call 3. Call. Talked to a woman agent. She gave me my membership number.
I then logged in to my account on the ClubPrem website, and found the hard-to-find 'delete membership' option. It asks you several times if you really want to give up your chance of being a member.....you have to go through it and click it every time.
Two seconds later I got the confirmation email and the saga was over.
I am irritated at VistaPrint for acting like spammers; and at ClubPrem for what is basically taking money from people for no reason. The OFT should get on to this.0 -
this situation has also happened to me, fortuneately i did notice after one debit from my account .i dialled the 0800 number on vista print waited nearly 30 mins for a reply and finally spoke with omar who said he would put me on hold and speak with clubprem direct and cancelled my account and will refund my money within 5 working days....fingers crossed this happens... HOWEVER my dilemma doesnt stop there... due to not knowing that i had signed up to this membership i never had the funds in the account to pay it..therefore my bank has now charged me £35 for being overdrawn and a further charge of £28 at the end of the month will be charge for not having my finances in order.... CAN SOMEONE HELP ME WITH THIS SITUATION0
