Hi I am so glad I found this forum I have just been through this. Mikey P I must have spoken to the same dumwit as you. Did he have american accent? Mine did and said thats why he couldnt understand me even though I spelt it out. He said eventually that would be refunded in full and cancelled but I was so furious for all those people who dont realise its a scam. Is there anyway trading standards can become involved? Thanks ladySara0

i've just seen a charge on my account and by googling came across this thread. have rung up and been advised i will be refunded, but have been told that sometimes clicking no thanks doesn't work and you should just shut the box with the X in the top corner. not sure thats on really. been promised a refund, i tell you it better come quick, not a happy person at all this afternoon now,.0

Happened to me as well. Checked the visa statement and found the debits.
I am sure I didn't request membership or received a membership number. This is very poor by VistaPrint as I have been using them for years.
It will definitely hit their customer relations and could lead to people moving their business elsewhere.0 -
i've got this now too 2 lots of 9.95 have come from my account within 3 days aaaargh i was told to call vprewards which i did only to be told they dont recognise my account... convienient considering that means they have no membership number to stop the money coming out of my account arghNo person is your friend who demands your silence, or denies your right to grow. :kisses2:0

I have just been scammed by our good friends as Vistaprint for 2 * 9.95.
I called American Express whose card I had used. They cancelled my card to stop future payments and are going to refund my 19.80 in the next couple of weeks. All sorted by someone in an English call centre at 10pm in five minutes.
I highly recommend Amex, they handled it very professionally.0 -
Does anyone have an address or fax number for these VPrewards etc?
I've called my bank who cancelled my card but wouldn't refund the money euch I deteste them, and then I called vista rewards who said they would cancel it and refund...and they haven't done it.

I am very lax in checking my credit card statements but as cash is getting very tight decided I needed to start to get a grip!! Am I glad I did - my wife ordered some business cards off vistaprint in June of last year and they have been taking £9.95 off the credit card she paid with eversince!!!WHAT A SCAM. Anyway I phoned one of the numbers on here and spoke to a gently spoken woman who cancelled the membership( my wifestaht she hadn't agreed to) and said all payments made would be refunded. I also phoned my credit card company and they are sending me a dispute form to fill out. Is this something Matin could include in one of his emails and try to publicise abit because I'm sure virtually everyone must be getting scammed like this when they use vistaprint. I only ordered cards mayself from them 2 weeks ago and definately never agreed to join any vprewards scheme. They said they would also cancel my membership which I never agreed but I don't hold my breath. Deffinately trading standards should get involved in this!!Starting MB- looking for Raf offers.

Hi Folks, It's been a while since I've read these boards, but just had a thought...
has anyone cancelled their VPrewards, been refunded and then had subsequent payments taken? IE The cancellation didn't work?
OR Has anyone used Vistaprint since they ahv had their money refunded and NOT been charged for VPRewards?
Just wondering what the longer term effects are of this swindle?

So i just checked my account balance and look a 9.95 membership to VPrewards. i've ordered over a year ago before and nothing has come of it until i ordered some business cards a couple of months ago. i am a student so am very cautious with my money and did not sigh up to anything like this scheme. whats the point anyway, 7.5% off, well i get 10% as a student but thats beside the point. point is i didnt ask to be signed up and was not asked for my permission to have my details passed on etc esepciallly card details!! have had no emails about it or anything and their site half works, you cant send them online question forms. i will be down to the bank in the morning. funnily enough, my account has no direct debits or standing order so where did it come from?!
someone needs to investigate this this is ridiculous.
and a question from those who got refunds.. could you give us tips to which numbers you phoned and what you had to say to get your money back?
this would be mostly beneficial and appreciated.
thanks and keep an eye out people!0
