I too managed to not read the small print for both VPRewards and ClubPremier. I noticed this last month and with the information given on this website magaed to contact vist print, who agreed to refund my money. (11 months at £9.95 and 2 months at £11.95). I also cancelled the subscriptions.
As a precaution I reported my debit card as stolen and was given a new card.

I got my bak statement for May / June on 25th June and 11 payments of £9.95 and two of £11.95 had been removed from card on 29th May. This was a credit reversal!! They have not repaid my money but taken it out again in one lump sum.

I spoke to Vista Print on 25th and again they said they had agreed a credit. I tried to explain the situation eventually they gave me a number in UK to phone - 08456722002. Telephoned and spoke to a Rachel Manner, who gave me the spiel that they were within their rights etc, my fault because I did not read information etc. I tried to explain what had happened this month and she kept telling me that I was not listening to her, eventually she did listen and then told me that this could not possibly have happened.
She also stated that she had no confirmation of my cancellations.

Have agreed to send a copy of my statment (with all account numbers removed!!) along with e-mail confriming cancellation of subscription.

Mt great concern is that deespite cancelling my debit card they can remove funds, inappropriately, at will. Is this legal? Ms Manners tells me it is. They therefore could do this every month.

The address she gave me is VPRewards / Club premier PO BOX 587 Edgware HA8 4DX This is somewhere off Old Rectory Gardens in Edgware, of course being a PO Box this will be difficult to track down.

Surely this firm can be stopped from taking 13 payments out of my account stating it is a credit reversal, when they have not paid the credit in the first place. This must be illegal.

Can anyone help?

I to have been taken in by Vista Print.

I realised this in May of this year and by using information given on this web site contact Vista Print, cancelled my subscriptions and they agreed to credit my card with the 11 payments of £9.95 and 2 of £11.95 they had taken over the last 11 months.

As a pre - caution I cancelled the debit card that had been used.

Imagine my horror when I received my bank statement for this month (June 07) that 11 payments of £9.95 and 2 of £11.95 had been taken out of my account on the 29.5.07. My bank tell me that this is a credit reversal, however, VP Rewards and Club premier failed to credit my account in the first place. So they have now taken a further £133+ without my authority on a card that has been cancelled.

I phoned vista print who confirmed that my subscription had been cancelled and that they had agreed to credit my money. They gave me a telephone number in the UK 0845 672 2002 and I spoke to a Rachel Manner. Rachel was keen to let me know they were within their rights and had obviously got her patter off by heart, as she was unable to hear that they had taken 13 payments out in one go. Eventually she gave me an address where I could send information to prove the above!!

PO BOX 587 Edgware HA8 4DX I believe this is off Old Rectory Gardens, but as it is PO BOX finding the precise building maybe difficult.

My concern is that Rachel Manner told me it was perfectly legal for them to dop what they have done and given I used a debit card they can continue to take money even thought that card has been cancelled and the subscription has been cancelled. Surely this is not so. This has got to be illegal.

Any help would be useful
• A number of people have had money taken from accounts apparently after using Vistaprint. We have set up a support website on Yahoo http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/Vistaprintnetscam to co-ordinate complaints and take action, some people are reporting losses of over 100 pounds before they noticed it. The lesson is of course be careful what you click on! More worrying however is the company behind this scheme seems to be selling the users information. We would like more people to join us to use the data protection act to find out who the information is being given to and more worryingly how secure the credit card information is.

Hopefully this will help some the address for
London office for VP REWARDS MEMBER SERVICES ??? WHO JOINED we all got conned.
369 Burnt Oak Broad Way,
Edware
Middlesex
HA8 5XZ

Direct Landline telephone number 02089520140

This will be answered as Wisteria Chartered Accountants This is a connection to vp rewards I do not know the true connection but they then connect you straight to the VP REWARDS OFFICE, to I am told the office containing 4 membership services people, I had the phone put down on me several times but with persistance was told Wisteria are the accountants for VP Rewards. I am still having £9.95 extracted from our account each month from the posts here alone it has to be 10's of £1000's of £'s they must need good accountants. I have passed on this address to the fraud department of our bank and hopefully this scam will be stopped. I know I must be dreaming contrickster's such as this bunch always find a way but we could all get together and gather outside the offices to get publicity and press awareness to make others aware of this con, this has to be made illegal.
• I felt such a fool, just like other folk it took me a while to notice - but I read all your threads and took your advice.

Sent an e-mail to cancel@vprewardsmembership requesting the account be cancelled.
Sent a copy of my bank statement highlighting the deductions of £9.95 each time (4 in total) along with a copy of my cancellation e-mail and a copy of their response to me stating they had closed the account.

All this was sent recorded delivery last Thursday to the Edgware address kindly provided.

On Tuesday (3rd July) I received a full refund direct into my bank account. Success!

Incidentally I also contacted my bank (Barclays) who have written to club prem and v p rewards on my behalf to cancel the automatic card payment. They could do this for me as I had already requested this from the companies concerned but somehow it was ignored.

I have copies of these also. According to the bank I have to allow 31 days for this to take effect. If they take anything after that it's a matter for the bank.

I signed up for some free business cards - just to see what they were like before ordering some proper ones. They were quite good and I would have put in an order (seemed easier than going to a shop and I often have a requirement for different cards) but the subscription bit seemed too much like a scam (not a genuine business) so I didn't go any further. Too worried that their business model was to produce the free cards and they wouldn't be able to cope with anything else.
I'm guessing that the amount they gain from the subscription is more than they lose in business

I have used
Vistaprint
on many occasions and
their
products are very good, but you do need to be very careful to ensure that they don't
tick
any boxes that you have to
uncheck
(a very naughty way to do this IMO).

On my very first order I got the rewards thing added on. It didn't tell me I'd have to pay for it at checkout.

Luckily they sent a confirmation email (that stated the
proice
) and I was able to cancel it (by email) immediately.
Vistaprint
do give good value products but you have to be extremely vigilant with
their
orde4reing process!
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.
• I have been done for 6 months as well.

I called the VPREWARDS phone number, spoke to Rachel Manner who said they would refund the last 2 months but not the rest.

I spoke to my credit card company (Tesco) and they said there is nothing they can do, even if I request a new card number.

They will send a form for me to sign to "block" any future payments to these scammers.

Tesco credit card people said I should get in touch with Trading Standards and take them to court. Sounds like a lot of hassle.
• And another sucker since Jan £119.40 down the pan. Cancelled my membership, they said that they will credit my account for that amount. Also raised it with my bank and cancelled that card.

I have told them what they are doing is illegal and that I will take the matter to trading standards and will be calling them tomorrow!

THis site also is campaigning about it http://chiswickken.typepad.com/ringtone/2006/12/vistaprint_warn.html
Hopefully vistaprint will sort this con out. DOn't forget it's worldwide!!
