I bought businness cards fron Vista print after getting a flyer in an amazon package.

They stole £9.95 from my debit card a few days ago, I rang them and they promised to return it.

I never signed up to any reward program - I can't even log on to their site as I don't have a member ID, there was never any mention of this in the emails I received from them.

If they are reading this and don't like being called thieves - then sue me.

I am reporting this to amazon too.

DON'T EVER PURCHASE FROM THEM
  • we got a dvd from something called cd-wow, when the dvd arrived it said YOU CAN GET A FREE STAMP WITH YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS on it, so not realizing we ordered this stamp from vista had to paid for package and posting, filled in our name and address on it so they could send it to us didnt agree for anything else but we didnt think much of it until we noticed that vprewards and clubprem was taking out £9.95 since march so we typed it in, vistaprint came up we went to our local bank and said we didnt authroized this money be taken out, they are now in the middle off sorting it out they send a form we had sign and that when we looked on this website and tried the numbers. Off other people who have already rang this company we are getting a dead tone all together they had been taken £69.
We have typed a complaint to the trading about vista whether anything gets done we are hoping that we get our money back. We have tried all the numbers on this website off other people who have rang them, we have also sent emails and we arent getting any answers at all.
    thank you

I got a tee-shirt from Vistaprint the other day, and it asked me to fill a quick survey in..it was until I clicked the button I noticed the seperate bit about the £9.95 a month club. It is very crafty the way they set it out, I am not surprised people are caught out.

Anyway I went straight to the website to see how you cancel it, and there is nothing on the site to let you do it, the email returned an auto reply, the phone number didn't work. In the end I sent a rather rude email to them (well rude for me anyway!) stating I felt I'd been tricked/wasn't happy/cancel it now/ kind of thing. I was sent back an email straightway saying it had been cancelled. .....haven't had my tee-shirt yet though....

Can you check on Vistaprints website to see if you are signed up to this?

I am not aware of any £9.95 coming out my account but I recently ordered 2 t-shirts that are on their way.

A couple of years ago we signed up for 250 "free" business cards (which actually cost me about a fiver for delivery IIRC.

The twerps put "Business cards are free at Vista Print" on the reverse of every card. They also bombarded me with spam.

I still haven't found a use for the cards - In addition to the stupid advert they're actually quite flimsy and smaller than average.

Luckily they hadn't started doing the £9.95 robbery club scam back then.......

Reading this thread reminded me that VISTA PRINT ARE WELL WORTH AVOIDING NO MATTER WHAT THEY ARE OFFERING.

fell for same problem got in touch with them they appologised and refunded me three months at ten pound a month it seems i hit a wrong button, but no problem getting my refund and cancelling. good luck
  • I ordered some biz cards from vistaprint back in april and only noticed on 25th June that they had taken £9.95 from my a/c - after searching my bank statements i found they also took the same amount in May so i called vistaprint to cancel and they did email me to say it had been cancelled and i would have to wait 2-4 weeks for the refund to go into my bank.
I chased this up with them last week as it still hadn't gone back and they confirmed i called on 25th June (from their screen) and to wait a few more days.

This morning i find out they have taken another £9.95 on 26th July so after calling them again to complain they tell me i've never spoken to them before and i would have to wait another 2-4 weeks, after asking that they confirm they will refund they full £29.85 i was told no they can only refund upto 2 months and i would have to send a letter to them inc a copy of my bank statement - i refused this as they don't have my trust (im never ever ordering from them as long as i live)
I then asked what financial institutions they are a member of and they said the UK financial institution, then i asked if they are a member of the FSA to which they replied yes - i phoned the FSA who told me they have no records of either vistaprint or vprewards being a member - so i call vprewards and the line just rings and rings - maybe its just one guy in the office?

so now do i wait the 2-4 weeks (im nearly overdrawn to my limit being a struggling musican) and im paying interest to bank bank ontop of these charges - and lose the last £9.95 because surely if this is my only option then this has to be theft.? I'm certain i didn't do the online survey as i don't do these at all its simply from ordering business cards and giving them my debit card details for there manipulation - you would think a company valued at £1bn+ wouldn't resort to this kind of scam.
