Why should'nt people with pre-existing conditions i.e diabetes, pay for items not related to their condition.
Surely would save NHS some money!!0 -
When a bank sends out a statement, it should have the % interest rate on the same page, clear to see, not hidden with 100 others in a booklet. When an ISA %interest rate changes, they should remind/alert the customer.0

Having worked alongside the job centre as an employer, it is one of the most ineffcient parts of the public sector, most of their employees don't really care about getting people back to work. A private company who only gets paid for results would work much better.2022 Target - Reduce new mortgage balance after house move - Part 1 (Ported) Starting balance £39,982.12 currently £37,242.19 Part 2 Starting Balance £101,997.88 currently £96,197.38 (as at 19/04/2022)0

To receive unemployment benefit, people should do 4hrs work, 5days/week, doing something that saves councils money (not just keeping them busy). The other hours are available for seeking work. It is wrong to give a person money (ie encourage them) to stay out of work.0

Council parking ticket machines should have to give change when paying for parking.
The councils are supposed to work for us. Why is there this mentality of them trying to catch us out at every step.
If we the public were short of money or 5 mins to the vehicle late we'd be sent a fine.

Why not have a common sense group of real people to advise the Government when there are outrages like this that need changing0 -
Marriage should be encouraged with tax, as it was. A group of two married people brings stability. Add children and there is more stability. This shows in a business and other groups, and shows in a country too. Countries are strengthened by individuals working together in groups, not separated.0

It ran so much better with them years ago - why not return to the model that ensured clean hospitals and well cared for patients.
Get rid of the managers and the expensive quangos and bring in nurses.
Also, as you have raised tuition fees, why can't universities be made to susidise medical courses on the agreements that students have to work 3/5 years in the NHS when graduated. That way there is a return on your investment so to speak.2022 Target - Reduce new mortgage balance after house move - Part 1 (Ported) Starting balance £39,982.12 currently £37,242.19 Part 2 Starting Balance £101,997.88 currently £96,197.38 (as at 19/04/2022)0 -
Prepay parking charges (with parking meter police issuing fines for every mistake) should be banned from carparks, as they are there just to store cars. Instead barriers with pay-as-you-leave machines/people. Only supermarkets and high street/roadside parking meters should be permitted to prepay and fine for overstaying.0

Aircon equipment is sold with refrigerant inside, with allows untrained engineers/DIYers to install illegally. Just prohibit imports of aircon equipment with refrigerant inside (ie only nitrogen allowed inside to keep it dry). Then, installer must buy refrigerant which is usual and already nicely policed. That would Handle thattype of emissions fast.0

In west Sussex Council Tax has to be paid in 10 instalments, so £1400 becomes £140 per month... Could they not divide by 12 making it £116 per month.. i.e. more affordable and easier to budget in line with all other bills!0
