Restrict reservation of opportunities for influential jobs and positions of power for the select few who can afford to pay their way to the top of the social class ladder rather than for those who are judged on ability and merit regardless of class.0

On airfares.
Companies should have to quote return fares. What is this oneway business all about unless we're all emigrating we're going to need to come back.
The flight out might be cheap but the flight back could be double or more. We need more transparency.

The voice of common sense
Why not have a common sense group of real people to advise the Government when there are outrages like this that need changing0 -
Trucks arriving in the UK to deliver goods should pay their pro-rata road tax while here. If here for 3days, then 3days worth of the annual road tax should be charged as they leave. That would even things a bit for our hauliers. (I have no vested interest save being UK cit).0

The IR35 tax system costs more to collect and police (including very expensive court actions) than if HMRC got on with something else. It is a foolish taxing system that just creates uncertainty in small businesses, who have to insure against the a hit from HMRC. Not only tying up HMRC resources (wastingtaxed monies) but also wasting tax payer's income.0

End exploitation of taxpayer and low & middle classes from those who abuse positions of power for personal-selfish profiteering by eradicating loopholes in the system that allow this to occur - of course people will take advantage if authority allows them to.0

Criminals convicted for damage to private and community property should be billed for the full cost of repairs (with the funds going to those suffering the costs), regardless of ability to pay.....the money would be recovered, as and when the criminal finds the resources, like it is for the students with £1000s to repay.0

I am a key worker and want to buy the house we currently rent. The landlord wants to sell to us, but we don't have the deposit (£40k @ 20%). We aren't allowed to access the keyworker scheme to assist us, as its only available on new properties. Make it available on older properties too!0

Guns should be outlawed, INCLUDING THE LOOK-ALIKE REPLICAS, which can be potentially converted into real guns. Just outlaw them all, not just the ones already able to kill people. There is no reason to sell replica guns....they should make do with photos.
(Yes, farmers etc would be unaffected.)0 -
End the trend of criminals who literally 'get away with murder and / or abuse' i.e those who harm: Individuals emotionally, physically and psychologically; society; and who cause life-long collateral damage to the victim and their families. Criminals such as !!!!!phiiles where the damage is passed down the generations. > make punishment more stringent <0

Police seem blind to CredCard fraud and will not record it as a crime, even though it involves more than £20-odd. Police should be made to record every report of such crimes as a CRIME with crime number allocated. And they should get onto dealing with this multi-billion racket, that is right under their noses.0
