It is impossible to enter into any sort of adult discussion with CSA and something needs to be done to make it a more user friendly service (both for those making payments and those receiving payments)!
Many issues over the years but latest being that despite making regular agreed monthly payments my partner now has a letter saying they'll take him to court as he hasn't been paying. We have ALL of the pay in slips to prove his payments have been made, which they now acknowledge, but are still planning to take us to court!!! Hello... any one there got any common sense!??? Clearly not!
How is this helping anybody manage their income and outgoings????? and what is the cost to the tax payer of taking this nonsene to court?? :mad:0 -
a carer gets £57 per week but the government pays out thousands in useless bureucrats and rubbish officers salaries to check minor details of the carers allowance - why not just give it - like attendence allowance and save loads of millions on staff salaries for council tax benefit officers and income support checkers. Surely caring should be encouraged not discouraged and who needs the bureaucrats when all you need is a signing card from the cared person and montly check up by socialservices - the card says "yes I was cared for to my satisfaction by ..........." and social services once a month checks up what that satisfaction is. Simply. and effective for old and disabled.0

I thnk the Government should fund students seriously studying for degrees crucial to our country's survival; science, medicine, engineering etc. Families should fund the useless ones themselves, i.e media studies etc. as these are just a way of avoiding getting a job. It's not exactly rocket science!0

Individual universities should control a percentage, 50%?, of the funding: Rather than fixed cost per course, they should be able to offer certain 'useful' courses to high achievers at a lower 'fee'. Encourages students to work harder for their A levels to reduce the amount of loan. Why should low-income students have lower loans - should be cheaper if they work harder!0

Automatic insurance renewals should be outlawed unless you have agreed to them in writing in the previous year. An insurance company should NOT have the right to debit your insurance renewal automatically WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION or WITHOUT SENDING YOU A WRITTEN QUOTATION FIRST and you agreeing to that renewal premium. I think it's a disgrace that they can automatically debit your credit or debit card just because your policy has come up for renewal without having any prior consent from the policy holder first.0

There needs to be some form of cap to the heating oil supply price whilst crude has gone up less than 10% over past 3 weeks heating oil has increased from 45p to 70p a litre 55% plus! This is purely profiteering, the price could be directly linked to crude in some way.0

I get £57 for a week of caring for an OAP, then I got a parkign ticket for a 2 minute stay at a spot that said it was "free 20 mins" but I didnt realise i had to get a pay and display ticket first - soi I got a £25 fine for doing an OAP shopping. Surely this should be a carers blue badge scheme - as we do make suer OAPs get shopping and services and the £57 doesnt really pay for much in terms of car costs... and you cannot ask the OAP. If I drag the 75 year old with me and his blue badge - I can shop for him for 2 hours but he has to sit in the car...why rob the do-gooders in our society to pay for parking fine companies?0

Please enable schools and other public funded bodies to purchase resources on the open market rather than via the, expensive, existing suppliers to which they seem to be tied. I have been told by many teacher freiens of the frustration of not being able to take of online prices everyday resources.0

Somethings may appear as a bargain or good value or a special offer. Why are supermarkets allowed to put 'the cost per 100grammes' on some brands to make them look cheaper and list others 'per 1kg'? This is deliberately misleading and needs to be uniformed on all products. Some items vary enormously in price if you check this part of the ticket i.e tomatoes.0

my aunt said (aged 80) "if my grandson lives in my house to help me and protect me from villains unless he is my carer - and he isnt because he works - i lose the 25% discount off council tax. In order to encourage more occupancy then old people should get a bigger discount if another person lives with them as a "Minder". It would equal less crime, less falls, and less stays in hospital, and generally a better welbeing for the old - in Spain live-in students with OAPS get given a bills bursary and this means that there are no lonely old folk or impoverished students looking for a home....0
