Customer loyalty is no longer in most customers interests, swapping providers periodically usually saves money. Oblige all service providers to provide full information to enable customers to leave them, not just to join as is now the case. Ensure that a service provider cannot obstruct those wishing to end their contracts.0

Pay premium bond winning by BACS instead of posting cheques with all the other bumph, that would save £m's every year some of which could be used for more prizes.
I e-mailed this suggestion to David Cameron, several weeks back and I've not even had an acknowledgement of yet :mad:0 -
It's well publicised that wholesale energy prices fell by 40% at one point yet the energy companies passed on less than 25% of that claiming they need money for investment but then they post £billions profit. When is the energy watchdog and the government going to ensure that we get a fair deal0

I think all banks should be made to transfer funds the same day. Why should it take electronic transfers 3 'working' days to transfer money between 2 banks in the UK. I can transfer money to my account in Vietnam and it arrives the same day I send it so why does it take 3 'working' days to transfer money in the UK. And the FPS doesn't work either only for small amounts and most of the banks haven't signed up to this anyway. Why should money that is already in your bank account have to go through a clearing system ie. BACS. The money is already there. You could walk the money to the receiving bank faster than what it takes to transfer it electronically. Where does our money go and who receives the interest whilst it's in transit!!! It's just another way the banks rip us all off. They should be made to transfer money the same day or EVEN IN THE SECONDS IT ACTUALLY TAKES!!!0

Can nothing be done about the fact that the energy companies have realised that us old un's (81 and freezing) get an extra £400 heating allowance and they put up prices for the winter to make sure they get from us. B******s0

Purchasers should have an absolute right to know the origin of goods. Rules that allow a product to be classified say as British made, simply because it may have had some small change applied in Britain, should not be permitted. Country of origin should mean just that.0

Make 12 month recurring contracts illegal and also any early termination charges illegal after the first year. Customers should be able to switch contracts whenever they like and without penalty. Surely the current system is anti-competitive and companies like the energy companies take full advantage of this.0

Labelling of products should be done in a consistent way so that consumers can make caparisons easily. Not as with Tesco et al where one package may be in grammes and its neighbour is in another measurement. We should not have to make lengthy calculations to compare values.0

People are allowed to emigrate without paying off outstanding student loans. I have friends who have emigrated to Australia with full loans outstanding– whilst I’ve repaid mine (taking 5 years). All had capital in the bank from house sales! Their children are now coming back to UK universities (one parent remained in the UK) and they have no intention of repaying any loans – all will return to Oz once their studies are complete0

East Devon District Council say that the views of the local population are not a valid matter to take in to consideration in regard to planning matters.
Make the views of local populations count as valid reasons for consideration be they objections or support.0
