does anyone know of a service which print out there own labels to put on the item? ive bought an amp on ebay but the person does not have a printer? im arranging it but neet to know a company who will post there own labels out, thanks!
Parcel Monkey's City Link service will let you do that. Just give them the MBG number to write on the package. You won't need the label with the [STRIKE]cheap advertising[/STRIKE] grinning primate - just ignore it.

Otherwise, look at Interparcel. They make it clear which services require printing of labels and which don't.

I'm done with the monkey business. Wish I could meet the organ grinder. Used them four times, first arrived damaged- still waiting to hear weeks later. Two successes then no collection today. After a twenty mile round trip in Manchester's rush hour, I dropped it off myself at City Link. A worker just lifted it out of my boot as they were chokka. Didn't have chance to ask if I could do that in future. Emailed at six dead on, needless to say no reply.
Back to the post office for me. Slow but more proffessional.
  • Hi macfly,

Sorry to hear that you have had some issues in terms of City Link failed collections and making contact with us.

I fully understand the frustration this causes but if you want to post some details I will look into it for you.

Please dear Lord, PM him! Only post back on here when resolved (or not as the case may be) - we don't all need a blow-by-blow account ;)

I didn't post to solicite help - just to add my experience. The ideal courier would be one I could book and then drop off at a collection point. The only ones who do that are Parcelforce, and I may as well go to the post office to do that.
Having said that, I've contacted City Link to see if it is ok to book through an agent and then drop off.
