Thanks for your reply. I just received a call from Citylink and I am not happy. Apparently my parcels were lost on the palette sent to a different depot somewhere in the country and they don't know which depot it is or how long it is going to take to find it. These parcels were time sensitive and needed to be delivered by 18/3/10 at the latest. You already missed a collection from me earlier in the week. I stand to lose a considerable amount of money due to the packages not arriving on time.
Can I put in a case for lost packages as essentially they are lost and Citylink stated they couldn't give me a date when they might be located as their warehouses sometimes have up to 15,000 items per day on palettes.0 -
I have been using Parcel2go recently, collected two item on time, both for delivery to Europe. This was only around £16 whereas with Parcel money it would have been £57. Having said that I have used monkey before with no problems.0

I think the blow-by-blow details of this complaint don't need to be public, perhaps exnicotinequeen can come back & give us a summary of progress at the end?0

PM are not very competitive for Europe, or indeed for larger parcels in the UK. I was surprised to find myself using PayPerParcel again recently for some larger stuff (25kg).They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -

Hi Again,
I have had an email from Linda at City Link who runs our account following her conversation with you this afternoon.
Once the items have been tracked down she will contact you and they will be shipped. Following this compensation can be sorted out.
For obvious reasons it's too early to sort anything out now as the items may turn up over the weekend and be delivered on Monday.
Rest assured though we take each case seriously and I will monitor the situation.
On behalf of City Link sorry once again for the situation you find yourself in.0 -

Our road account will be open soon, taking a little longer than first thought for system intergration, and then I think you will find us more competitive as we will not ship only by air.0 -
Hello
May I please ask a few Qs
Ive a few packets that are approx 1-2 kg in weight and they are all going to the same address. They all need to go individually not all in one box. What would be the cheapest way of doing this? Is there a courier that collects a fixed amount of packets at any one time to one fixed address maybe?
Also whats the cheapest avaialbe courier for a 10kg Uk to Uk parcel at the moment please?Mad Mum to 3 wonderful children, 2 foster kittens and 2 big fat cats that never made it to a new home!
Aiming to loose 56 pounds this year. Total to date 44.5 pounds 12.5 to go. Slimming World Rocks!0 -

Royal mail is normally cheapest for anything under about 2kg.0 -

What Cyberbob said. Although if you had more than a few, say more than 25, then it may be possible to find a courier to take them more cheaply (on the basis that standard parcels is £4.41, but you can get a multi-parcel delivery for sub-£4 + a collection surcharge). They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0
