They are tickets so they have to arrive by a certain date. I did use international signed for once with RM - its just too slow. Or rather completely random - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. There is no guarantee as you are relying on the local post office the other end which can be variable. Thats why I'm thinking of Fedex etc because you get the door to door service with the same provider.0 -
Ah I see. Your in a bad situation then here. I always have old phones to sell(upgrades, family member's etc...) and before I knew about the fact that RM wont insure mobiles for more than £39 abroad, I was simply using a tracked service. Luckily, all my buyers have been honest
You may have got burned once by RM, however surely you could claim for loss?0 -

Don't get me wrong, they delivered it, it just took two weeks. If you are ebaying tickets, the buyer often needs them the next day. I had to find another ticket and hand deliver it in Italy! Which i did but it was an effort. These are hard to get sports tickets you see. When I attend a game I often buy a couple of extra ones to cover my travel costs.0 -
hand deliver? Anyway for time sensitive items, isnt there an option to go to parcelforce directly and use them seeing as though its a low weight item? Makes sense I think. Oh and they give a £3 cashback if you shop via quidco
Just remembered that Italy is a no go area for some sellers because of the rubbish postal system0 -
And yes, I have read previous posts first:)
It seems Parcelbee is the way to go, but I'm just checking. £25 is still quite a lot to pay for old photos and albums, so I'm looking for cheaper but reliable. Parcel2go is misleading because it says from £14.81 ex VAT but the quote comes up at over £45. Speed is not an issue...
Follow Up on above post:
I used Parcelbee in the end and was very pleased with the service. I needed to change the delivery address and they changed the delivery address (labels needed to be changed) before the collection without any problems. Although PB didn't really help me to fill in the Customs for the photos (non commercial items), I rang UPS and they were very helpful. I could also track the shipment easily and set it up so that they would text me when it was delivered, which they did. All in all a good experience“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us...."0 -
my next PC will be sent via HDNL if I can(with the 99p offer) and two others will be sent via parcelbee 24 hour seeing as though some parts with them were DOA(causing my buyers to wait further). The 99p with p2g is well worth looking in to0

I am looking to send a fleece jacket to Italy after selling it on Ebay, can anyone suggest a cheap but reliable set up?
Regarding Collect+, used them twice now and both times no problems at all. Delivered my parcel to the local shop by me (Liverpool) on Thursday night, the guy had it in Surrey on Tuesday.

How much does it weigh? If it weighs less than 2kg, you'd be best off using RM(signed for)-Italy is not a good place to send to. If it costs more than £13.50 to send by RM, you'd be best off using PB
On a side note, Im annoyed at PF now, seeing as though they havent came yet0 -
Hi,
I thought I would start a list to summarise my experience with each online parcel delivery company I have tried to help anyone out there who can't choose.
Parcel2go.com
Services include Parcelforce, DHL, FedEx, HDNL and city link.
Offer £50 standard cover
Offer Enhanced cover on some deliveries (deanos added £200 cover if you choose Parcelforce)
Customer service is as you would expect from a large company but the live chat option is helpful.
Interparcel.com
Services include UPS, Interlink, TNT, Hermes, Citylink, DHL
Offer £50 standard cover
Have to wait a long time for call to be answered but they do help with your problem.
SendingParcels.com
Services include Parcelforce, UPS, FedEx and DHL
Offer £75 standard cover
Option to purchase enhanced compensation cover
Very personal customer service
Parcelbee.co.uk
Services include DHL, FedEx and TNT
Not sure about compensation cover
Wasn't convinced by the look of their website at first but they provided the service ok.
Parcel2ship.com
Services include DHL, FedEx and HDNL
£50 compensation cover include
Option to purchase enchanced cover for parcelforce services
Great service for eBay buyers. I originally found them from an eBay ad.
I will add to this list if I find any others that are worth trying!

One thing that nearly made me hit the back button was the fact that the site said "good bananas"
It also says you have "SMS tracking" I received no SMS tbh with you.
Another thing "wrong" with the site is that it says "So not our beautiful islands of Man or Wight for example" when making a quote. It doesnt bother me really, however I dont think its as professional as "So not areas such as Isle of Man or Wight for example"
Another thing a tad confusing is that it says
"NEW YEAR 0-10KG OFFER!"
It was new year about a month ago now, so that can be a little confusing for buyers
I used you twice with no problems. You promptly emailed me back about one item that became damaged, however I didnt email back as I thought its not worth it for £15 lol
Another thing that is "wrong" with the site, but its not really your fault. I was telling some friends about parcelmonkey and parcelbee. One of them said, will there be a "parcelape" next? Then again, it does make your site easier to remember
Otherwise its all good
I hope you take this criticism in good light. Others may disagree with me, and you may as well, but thats my opinion of the site.
Oh and I can think of problems with other sites as well, so Im not having a go at you lol0
