ParcelBee's website states that the max size for parcels is 120cm x 60cm x 60cm. DAK, does this mean that these are the absolute limits for each dimension, or does it mean that parcels less than 432,000 cubic cm are OK? I have a parcel measuring 84 x 64 x 7cm, so it's OK volumetrically but I don't want to send it if the 65cm side makes it oversize. I've tried ringing them but been cut off - twice! So looking unlikely I will use them tbh!

Hi, collectmyparcel.com have DHL services which are maximum length 150cm provide the overall volume is less than 0.23m3. So you should be within that.

I used Parcelbee for 3 large (ish) parcels this week and the courier was Parcelforce 24. Only one parcel got there on time the other 2 were a good 24 hours late , Parcelforce customer service really sucked and the tracking hardly ever updates , when i called them they told me the parcels are stuck at the "HUB" and they cant trace them until they move from the "HUB" and could not tell me why 2 of the 3 were "stuck" I thought DHL were bad but their customer service is 100% better .I contacted Parcelbee and they say that they are ONLY using Parcelforce for uk to uk deliveries at the moment .That is a real shame as up till now they have used UPS and they were good .So really dont know if i feel confident is using Parcelforce again??:(

I have had a written reply from ParcelBee that it is OK to send this size. They replied quickly to email which makes me feel slightly better about them!

Cheers for that, but they can't do it for £5.99. ;)

    true true :rotfl:
  • I just want to warn people to be very wary of Parcel2Go. They may be one of the cheapest parcel companies so seem attractive but their service is dreadful and their customer services is shocking.

I booked for them to post a parcel for me back in October, having got a recommendation on here to use them. They lost my parcel and I'm still waiting for my claim to be resolved nearly 5 months later.

Their customer services is dreadful, every question you ask them gets ignored with a response that is not relevant. I am still waiting for them to refund the postage that I originally paid and they have the cheek to want to put it into a pre-payment account with them. As if I'm gonna use them again. Jokers!

    Be warned.

I agree. I'd like to warn others about Parcel2Go too.

I'm having problems with their customer service who are incapable of even an automated response to my requests for a copy of a proof of delivery. I have now sent 8 emails, each quoting their own reference number but only the first seemed to warrent a reply. Incidently, the tracking shows this as delivered and signed for, so how difficult can it be?

So, BEWARE of Parcel2Go, cheap enough but apalling customer service.

Ditto with ParcelMonkey - they don't deliver on their promises. Avoid!

Being fair, Parcel2go didn't loose your parcel, the carrier did. All parcel2go did was process the booking.

I agree that the customer service is all their responsibility. and i'm not going to argue their corner on that one.

But also the claim etc, partly will be the responsibility of the carrier. It is the carrier that needs to investigate and resolve, and most of them really do normally take up to 6 weeks to do so (5 months is bad though, I agree)

The real dreadful service provider in this story is the carrier, and guessing from the problem that you had I am guessing that it's a DHL service?

We nearly always use DHL and have found when a parcel is lost by them the claim pay out is only a couple of weeks. If it's damaged then it can take some time, but lost is lost and so easier I guess?
