I think the fact that your order goes through paypal, it means that you can get your money back from them

If they didnt use paypal(and had an optional bit where you can pay by paypal), they could charge
    £5.59 for UK delivery
    £12.83 for European delivery and
£23.94 for the rest of the world

Because of how they've done their site(using seriff), I suppose it would be quite hard for them to offer a secure card terminal, so you cant get an option of which service you wish to use

    Hi

PayPal told me sometime last year that you cannot put in a claim against a reseller as they are services, and you can only put a claim in agasint goods?

I forgot about that. Intangible items are not covered, but paypal doesnt need to know that

Ive made disputes(correctly) against sellers offering a service before and won

Mmmm, if you open a dispute and they raise it to a claim it automatically closes.

Are there any reasonably priced resellers left offering England to England parcel collection and delivery who do NOT require you to print your own label? I've got to have something collected (about 20kg) and the guy cannot print a label.
    Thanks

I need to post a PC it's worth £500 who should I use. I have used parcxel2go before and they lost the item. I have used interparcel they were ok. Are parcelbee trustworthy I tried to get a quote but it seemed I had to actually book it (I haven't got the address to send to yet - ebay sale)? very nervous about losing money!!

I send PC's worth £300-£400 with them all the time and I only ever pay for £50 insurance(for UK delivery). Then again, the items are new so they are heavily protected with polystyrene and a cardboard box(all free for me lol)

if you want to pay insurance, its your choice, but I dont and havent had a parcel go wrong

If i can answer my own query - this is what i found.
ccl logisitics fit the bill but are a bit expensive although it goes include insurance of £21 per kilo so if its something heavy and expensive would be OK.

collectmyparcel and payperparcel also do not require a printer and are more reasonably priced.

    Hi

I've browsed this thread but wondered if anyone could point me to a cheap company for small parcels - generaaly 1 - 2kg and dimensions max 40 x 30 x 15cm? I've seen £4.99+VAT on parcel2ship but most of the other companies have been much higher.

    Thanks

  • Hi all
New to the forums but been signed up to the emails for years so thought I would try on here for help.
Anyone know of a reliable 'large item' collection and delivery outfit?
I do mean large! Plenty of man with a van places around but I need a company (probally a two man lift) to pick up an american fridge freezer that is 220cm high and wieghs nearly 300kg!
From Reading to Woking - 25miles
I know its going to be costly but I need it done.
    Thanks for any help
