I had exactly the same idea as waqasahmed, our current carriage prices to N. and S. Ireland are very off-putting. But need some confidence in the new delivery system before I do the P&P repricing exercise.

Ive got to say, parcelbee has improved sales somewhat. Im selling some products to places like Malta now, because of the low shipping and the fact that prices are generally higher there. Yes thats right, they're about the only country that pay higher for goods than us lol

BTW, parcel2go are now looking to "match" any prices you get(Ive received a tenner free from them already lol)
    http://www.parcel2go.com/price-match.aspx?utm_source=promotion&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=pricematch&referrer=html_24Dec09_pricematch&type=email&location=email

I got my first fiver because of a complaint, and my next fiver because they "missed" me. I told you guys Im lucky with couriers!

Aha, just had a look and parcel2go are looking a bit sharper now.But their European prices are not tempting.

Looks like they all cranked their prices up a couple of years ago when fuel prices rose, but things are getting a bit competitive again. At times like this its always possible for a parcel agent to go belly up, I suppose.

Id say parcel2go are the ones most likely to survive, seeing as though they are larger and the average joe's heard of them(Well some average joes) But some others only know about the cheaper ones such as PB. Then again, remember what happened to woolies?

if you go to the p2g site, theres an option for USA postage for £15ish.havent made a dummy booking yet though

EDIT: When using that, the £15 thing never works. Instead your paying something more like £55 lol

Methinks PPP monitor sites like this. They now have a price of £6.49. 1p cheaper than parcelbee, however no discount code lol
EDIT: Despite it saying £6.49 on the front screen, prices are still £6.89, so they may need to sort that glitch out. It would be nice if they could do a £6.17 service lol.
  • PPP only provide £6.49 which I think is ex VAT if you pre purchase 50. So that would mean giving them £373.18 (I think) up front to get that rate.
