i dont, and wont use interparcel because they take like 24hrs to respond to emails and they also leave you on hold for ages if you ring them (premium phone number)0

I usually use Interparcel as I didn't know any other courier companies, and they have proven their worth in gold.
However, after seeing MSE on GMTV I thought I would have a look around for some extra savings, and decided to use collectmyparcel.com, one of the recommendations on MSE for cheap international delivery.
However, I have to say I am sorely disappointed in collectmyparcel.com. I scheduled a collection for Tuesday 17/11, which they did meet and picked up quite early in their 9.30-5.30 timeframe. I had paid for a DHL Time Definite 2-4 day delivery to Australia, and as off 2 seconds ago, the parcel has still not arrived and we are on the 9th day. Collectmyparcel.com have tried to locate the parcel, and the classic comment of "I only hope it has not been lost in transit".
Admitedly they have given 25% off, however, this does not really help when the goods should have arrived on 21/11, and were filled with not only urgent documents but also christmas cards and presents.
When you pay for a service, you hope to get what you pay for, yes it may be a cheaper alternative to Royal Mail, however you expect that you are given what you ordered.
So, all in all, stick to the ones you know or know someone who have used them, otherwise by in for a long wait and disappointment.
My recommendation....use interparcel!
Hi I use collectmyparcel.com for most things except the odd one via TNT when I use Interparcel. I've had DHL damage items and lose items but that's not the resellers fault. The fact you got a 25% discount is brilliant as DHL wouldn't give anything. It wouldn't matter which reseller you picked the same would have happened. collectmyparcel.com have always answered my emails superfast which is more than I can say for Interparcel.0 -
Can I just ask for parcelmonkey users - has your quidco tracked yet? I'm still waiting for 53 seperate bookings to track and wondered if any were tracking yet as I know others had problems too.0

Dear Mr Ahmed,
Please make sure this is not tampered with and not handled by other couriers as this will invalidated your claim.
Our insurance team need to make sure this is in its original state as arrived and not handled by other parties that may change its state.
As advised FedEx have arranged a collection of the damaged goods for tomorrow, Thursday 26th Nov under the new tracking number ****** to be returned back to you. If you wish we can reschedule this for Friday 27th November.
Kind Regards
ParcelMonkey Team

Nah. i doubt people here'd get cashback from quidco anyway seeing as though someone hasnt received theirs for several weeks I believeSweetcorn-Teeth wrote: »i dont, and wont use interparcel because they take like 24hrs to respond to emails and they also leave you on hold for ages if you ring them (premium phone number)
I dont use them at all, seeing as though they wont insure computers, full stop0 -
Appleblossom - are you using the same email for Parcelmonkeys as the one you are using for Quidco. I made that mistake when I first started using quidco, and couldn't understand why my stuff didn't track.0

Just wondering does anyone know of a royalmail/TNT mail/UK business reseller if indeed they do have them for smaller items? I regularly send really small items sent as letter/large letter rate(mainly to the US really, but some to the UK) and every penny counts lol0

Are the any couriers that cover laptops and monitors as a non-restrictive item. I have sent over 23 such items with Interparcel and today one recipient mentioed there was damage on the item. I sent the item via FedEx (who are very good) but Interparcel do not cover me at all. I have managed to get refunded for all the cover that I paid in the previous two years that came up to £1,320 (which is fine).
As Interparcel have no couriers that cover this, is there any cheaper parcel company that cover such items? Or is there a external insurance policy that I can take out to cover items that I send through Interparcel regardless?0 -

My first parcel with them has gone from "pending" to "confirmed" on TopCashBack (although I'm not holding my breath on whether it ever becomes "payable" ie TCB get paid by PM).
Subsequent bookings didn't track, but I didn't really expect them to.They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -
Hi
If we want a parcel collecting and go direct to Parcel Force, DHL, FedEx, UPS, City Link it costs like £30+ but if we use a reseller it's like £10 ish.:T
So these resellers are all doing us a favour yet the moment the big boys don't collect, loose it, damage it or take slightly longer to deliver it we blame the reseller.
I understand that they are the point of call to get things sorted etc but why blame them for bad service? They most likely did it all right, they took our payment and booked our parcel.:A
Don't get me wrong, if a seller isn't paying their cashback as promised or vanishes off the face of the Earth taking customers money and booking no parcels then let's slate them to high heaven.
But for those resellers out there that do provide a service, who do provide good customer service let give them a shout. They may make money from us but my words they save us bucket loads!
Happy holidays :xmassmile
