Hi,
I am very new to the forum and to ebay and could really use some help. I have read through the forum but am unsure about which courier to use.
I am sending a parcel to the us which is about 8 kg and since royal mail is so expensive I am looking for an alternative. Would really really appreciate your help and advice.
Thank you!!0 -
I'm sure they'll be gutted.
By your sarcastic remark, I see after all, you were trying to start an argument!!
End of!Couponing....."every little hurts"

They started off pretty badly for us, apologised, then ran smoothy until a couple of weeks ago when they started on a meltdown, mixing up trackings, delaying parcels, returning ones they couldn't be bothered delivering, etc. Finally they've put their prices up to.
Managed to get a good rate with UPS I think..0 -

As well as those you have been recommended to i find www.transglobal.co.uk usually best for longhaul and i would also check out www.worldwide-parcelservices.co.uk . These are both upstanding suppliers. survey5pc gets you a discount with worldwideparcel0 -

Yes, lesson learned, and that was part of the reason for my initial post......to let unsuspecting customers know, that you can get a cheaper quote by going direct to the carrier(Collect+), rather than his agent(Parcels2Go).....
I mistakingly thought that my one-off parcel price from an agent(who possibly sends thousands with them) would be cheaper than a one off from the carrier....Couponing....."every little hurts"

Does anyone know where I can get a courier for a large parcel to Greece? I reckon the parcel will only be about 160cm x 50 cm x 40 cm at 12Kg. It's a car bodykit. Would anyone have a rough ball park figure?
Really struggling to find a courierMost seem to be max 150 cm length and other couriers for large sizes seem to be UK only

Just wondering if anyones had any experience with myukdelivery.co.uk at all? I think I made a boo boo.
I sold my old pram and matching car seat on ebay with postage charged at £30 (which was what the last seller posted it to me for - or at least thats what they charged me!) but have been struggling to find a courier at that price. Almost signed up through Parcels Please for £41 (+VAT) but at the last minute got an email from a company I had contacted for a quote, my UK delivery, offering all in with next day delivery and tomorrow collection for £35.
So excited was I to find a company close to my guestimated courier cost I clicked 'book now' in the email straight away. It took me to a page to fill in all the details of collection / delivery and then to a payment page, but at the end of the payment there was no confirmation, no email, no landing page.... nothing.
So now Im worried this is a fake company and Ive just managed to reveal personal details to them... not only that but I used my other halfs debit card as I couldnt lay my hands on mine...
Please someone tell me they've had a good experience with this company _pale_Stuck in a hole:(:( Just a step from getting out

I work in the industry and i would advise to try and use the company direct rather than through a 3rd party, everything's fine until something goes wrong or missing.
Remember the carrier is not liable its the middle man.
if anyone would like unbiased advice let me know.0
