Thanks kayster, I was not aware of the lack of pms to company reps.

If mat thinks it will do any good i would gladly copy out the history of tickets from their "support" centre and email them to him..

However... The purpose of this thread was to be able to give some feedback on cheap package delivery companies...

Parcel (farce) monkey already have all the information to answer my support tickets should they wish. But they choose to fob me off with brief answers that have failed to address any of the questions I ask

Thats why I post here... My original comments still stand that in future I will only use a company which has a customer service department with a phone number where you can get service.

Your also correct on costs... Paying peanuts to monkeys it's just not wort it!

parcel monkey, today ive submitted two paypal claims as you seem to be ignoring my posts, nice way to treat your customers! i appreciate how problems happen, but we also all understand its how you deal with them.
Just want my money back which is over a week now and i'll leave you alone for ever.... i promise.

If I was stolt, I'd be hopping mad that the parcel monkey rep has been on here taking credit for a positive post about CityLink while ignoring someone trying to get a refund!

  • I too, have a dispute with Parcel Monkey and have today lodged a dispute with Paypal for refund of money paid. I booked a "next day delivery" slot with them on the 16th December for collection on the 17th. Stayed in 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th. No one came to collect. Got an email from PARCEL MONKEY on the 20th saying they "detected a missed collection" - MY HAT!!! I was home - no-one came to collect. Rebooked for the 21st. Stayed in all day 21st and 22nd. Got another email this morning from PARCEL MONKEY saying "detected a missed collection" - GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. I was home!!! No-one tried to collect. No-one responds to my Support messages. They have no contact number on their site. Today I have started a Paypal dispute to try to get my money back. I found a phone number on the Paypal site but surprise surprise the number is "not recognised". Please avoid PARCEL MONKEY. Because of them my family will be without Christmas presents this year.

I would have thought they would be to... if theres enough money outstanding and PARCELMONKEY dont sort there act out there could send baliffs in. I've heard of it happening before when someone has tried to close an account with a negative balance.

I would have though parcelmonkey would be doing there utmost to sort this as its highly damaging to there image, although i'm starting to expect its a one man band operation run from home or something along those lines.

  • Still no communication from Parcelmonkey or their rep on here. Seem to be ignoring me also. I've escalated my Paypal claim as I've heard nothing from them whatsoever. Still have a City Link parcel, booked through PM, stuck at Durham with a planned delivery date of 13th December (they've had it since the 6th), and I cannot get through to the depot to find out when they will attempt delivery or if it will be returned to me (I actually hope it is so I can rebook through a more customer-focused company).
Not looking hopeful at the moment :(

  • I have now escalated my claim at Paypal against Parcel Monkey. They have until the 2nd January 2011 to respond - I'll let you know if they respond to me or to Paypal.
