I must admit I don't skimp when it comes to parcel delivery as I prefer reliability and zero hassle over saving a few quid. I've used UPS through Pharos Parcel http://www.pharosparcel.com/ for years with no major issues and excellent support from the Pharos on the phone/email. The only other service I use is Parcelforce directly when sending to NI, Highlands and Islands. If I'm listing on eBay I make it very clear that I don't use cheap couriers and that's reflected in the price. If that puts people off bidding for larger/heavy items then so be it.
For delivery, (my)Hermes is a bunch of amateurs, the local courier won't even come down my road! I had an interesting 'conversation' with their line manager and now stuff is routed through UPS.0 -
Will Parcelmonkey let you drop your parcel off at the depot, instead of having to wait in for the courier?0

Hi Tibbie's mum,
Yes we do.
Give them your order details etc and they can contact the driver to tell him not to bother going to your address.0 -
Hi ,
Any one know how you rebook a collection with Parcelmonkey without paying ?
I have just phoned my local Citylink depot (Norwich) to be told due to the snow i wont be getting my parcel collected (nice of them to let me know!!!) they then said they cant rebook it because i went through Parcel monkey so i need to rebook it for tomorrow with them ?? looked on the site and i cant see a way of doing it without paying again and as its nearly 18.00 i very much doubt anyone from Parcel Monkey is going to answer my email?0 -

Last time City Link didn't show up to collect my parcel, I contacted Parcel Monkey that evening and they had replied and re-booked it the following day.0 -

Hi when we brought an ebay item recently we had limited time and used a website called www.shiply.co.uk this is a website that is auction based where couriers bid to take your parcel. This was good as we saved a packet and had no problems with the couriers.
Although Shiply is free to list they do charge you a fee if your item is successful in being shipped, much like ebay I suppose with their fees .
hope this helps
