  • Their emails annoyed me too.

Are they really expensive? I send out boxes of books usually weighing about 15kgs and I haven't found anyone cheaper. Am I missing something? I keep an eye on here but the cheapest ones are usually for well below that weight.

    Hi

Not to sure, but my parcels booked in todate have been processed very efficiently!

You can speak to to them by telephone, live chat and by email.

There online booking system is not up and running as yet but have spoken to the owner and he is hoping this will be sorted by Monday.

All i can say is that there performance with my orders has been 100%

I made a booking on Parcelmonkey today and saw a note i had not seen before

FedEx insurance sadly only covers new goods not second hand goods.

    what use is that!!!
  • I sent something last week with collect plus. They stuck the orange bar code on in the drop off shop, but collect plus realised, and phoned the shop to sort it out. So far so good. However on Saturday I put in the tracking number to their web site, and it showed nothing more than the drop off booking. So I emailed them and they said they had no record of the parcel. I went back to the original shop who said yes it had been picked up and had gone to the depot. Then yesterday I had a message from the buyer to say that he had called into the collection store to be told that they no longer take parcels. I've gone back to collect plus with the original confirmation e-mail, bar code etc and asked for an update - but have had no response. Ahhh!! I only used then because the buyer was a bit funny about being out when a courier called, I though that at least this way he would be able to pick it up when most convenient. Not sure what I can do except for wait and weather the storm - unless anyone has advice.

Have also used a different courier for another parcel - myhermes, who pick up from a safe place and you don't need to wait it. Fingers crossed that goes a little smoother.

Used collectmyparcel last week and it was perfect.
Booked the pick-up on line and parcel was collected 2 hours later by DHL!
Delivery was made the following day to the destination.

    Couldn't fault it.....

I am fuming with myhermes - booked them for the first time on friday night to collect yesterday - yesterday came and went - got to 5.30, rang them up, they rang the courier who told them her gun had broke so she couldn't do collections yesterday (didn't bother to let them know mind) - however promised she would be here this morning -

11.30pm still no sign, phoned again and they couldn't get hold of her but left her a message to call them.

1.30pm still not here, phoned again, they still couldn't get hold of her so I told them to cancel it and give me a refund and I will book elsewhere -

Booked through parcelmonkey (£2 cashback for each parcel on quidco now) for tomorrow, however I had fed-ex coming out for some more parcels that were booked for today, asked if they could take tomorrows one too for me and it's now happily on its way to the customer.

Have sent myhermes an email advising them what a poorly run service they run and I cannot deal with unreliability - I will never ever use them again.
