Cheap Parcel Delivery Official Discussion

Parcel2go is an appalling service. I have also verified that they 'doctor' their customer reviews. They at best leave out the bad reviews and possibly manufacture some or maybe all of the good reviews.0

This assessment is based on my own experience with Parcel2go. The service I paid for involved a collection / delivery by Fedex. The combined operation was uncoordinated, incompetent (the left hand did not know what the right hand was doing). I wasted my time but what was worse I was really disgusted with the way Parcel2go dealt with the problem.
As if incompetence was not enough lies and irresponsibility of the staff added to the experience. I ended up getting feeling very upset and truly disgusted with the kind of staff they use. Who needs that? Life is difficult enough without having to deal with the crap of Parcel2go.
I recorded negative feedback in the alleged 'customers reviews'. My low ranking and critical comment was not posted. I recorded it again, but it was left out again. That made me wonder how genuine their 'customer feedback' really is.0 -

Wheres the evidence that they 'Doctor' Reviews? You've not verified it have youReena13 wrote:I recorded negative feedback in the alleged 'customers reviews'. My low ranking and critical comment was not posted. I recorded it again, but it was left out again.
All you have is they didn't use your review. No company in their right minds would put negative reviews on their own website0 -

I sent a parcel with parcel2go and FEDEX which arrived broken although the packaging was extensive and included hard board AND polystyreene.
After many emails and detailed images from the client as the parcel was unpacked and the damage found, fedex simply responded with the one liner " the packaging was insufficient" and this was shortly followed by parcel2go who's reply was " the parcel was signed for as received in good condition.
Akthough FEDEX terms require the parcel to be keept for inspction the client tells me he has had NO requests from FEDEX to view it even after 6 weeks of waiting.
I pointed out to both that there is no way that you can inspect the parcel BEFORE signing and that there is ONLY 1 way to sign, received in good condiiton!
There is NO WAY to indicate that the parcel has not been inspected for damage.
If you do not want to sign for the parcel as received in good condition this is treated as a refussal and the parcel returned.
Even IF you sign on the digital displays the word UNCHECKED this signifies that you have signed for the parcel and at that very POINT you accept ALL responsibility for it. Once you find out that it has been tossed around and handled badly the bottom line is Tough sh*t. you signed to accept it in the condition it was delivered. NOT the condition it was sent.
I even paid EXTRA insurance and this has been flatly refused as an insurance claim.
SO I am NEVER sending anything with either FEDEX or PArcel2go as they simply dont give a toss:mad:
Is there really no way to hold these companies to their responsibilities??
Any advice would be appreciated.

I agree, I had an awful experience with Parcel2go (reselling a Fedex service).0 -

If a company picks and chooses what reviews to post then it can always present itself as having ranks 5/5. It is generally understood that 'customer feedback' means feedback from all customers not just the satisfied or imaginary ones. Presenting only favourable feedback without explicitly stating so, is deceiptful. Amazon (I believe) include both positive comments as well as negative, that is why I trust them.
There should be a strict regulation about that imposed by the Office of Fair Trading. Otherwise it amounts to GROSS MISREPRESENTATION, as it misleads customers about the quality of service they provide.
Maybe there is a rule about this. Does anyone know what are the rules about 'customer feedback'?0 -

I believe my post is informative enough. The general public is not prepared to read whole pages about one's life.
For your information you sound far too patronizing. You should watch the tone of your comments if you don't want to come across as a pompous !!!.0 -

I am not experienced with writing at forums. So I really don't know how much detail to present. From my general experience people get bored having to read endless details. At the end of the day it is a matter of choise by the reader whether to trust a posted comment or not.
Unlike those who try to sell, those who complain have no motive other than a deeply felt grievance. Such feedback ought to be of value even if it is not particularly articulate.
I appreciate that you may be a self appointed moderator trying to uphold some quality in the postings submitted to this forum / thread; however do try to understand other people's feelings.
I note you quoted my original comments leaving out the subsequent comments where I supplied more information. This confirms my initial view that your style and attitude require some introspection.0
