I am not experienced with writing at forums. So I really don't know how much detail to present. From my general experience people get bored having to read endless details. At the end of the day it is a matter of choise by the reader whether to trust a posted comment or not.
Unlike those who try to sell, those who complain have no motive other than a deeply felt grievance. Such feedback ought to be of value even if it is not particularly articulate.
I appreciate that you may be a self appointed moderator trying to uphold some quality in the postings submitted to this forum / thread; however do try to understand other people's feelings.

my you do have an attitude
the problem for the reader of this thread and its three previous iterations, are the companies selling and bad mouthing their competition covertly

so the value of your feedback is negated by its ambiguity

    Hi all
I am hoping you parcel experts can help me with this. I had DHL up yesterday to collect a parcel (a large laser printer) it weighed about 25 - 30kg, I have checked the tracking details and it says something about a parcel size check, does this mean I am going to be charged extra for it being too large?

It does sound like they are indeed checking it , was it oversized or overweight as you don't seem to know the exact weight ?

I did check on google, and on the HP website, it says it weighed 24.5kg, but I sold it without toners, so thought that might bring it down a bit.
Hope I don't have any extra charges to pay!

Oh, I did not think I might be taken as a tradesman trying to bad mouth the competition, as I am a genuinely disappointed customer. However even this eventuality does not justify your manners.
You have succeeded in turning a genuine comment into a useless argument that wastes the space of this thread. I do not wish to continue this dialogue, I would appreciate it if you stop commenting.

I wouldnt worry. i regularly see this with DHL. It is just what says - a check of size and volume. If it was oversized or overweight it says so.

OK - we get it - youve had a bad experience, you've spent hours trawling through the thread and raked up Danishbacons bad experience from months ago and want to lash out at anyone that tries to comment.

It happens with parcel companies and you move on and try someone else. I think the general consensus is P2G are above average. They do 1000s of parcels a week and the level of complaints is quite low.
