I got ripped off by Parcelbee and parcelkings looks very much like Parcelbee reborn??? I would be very careful in using them unless your 100% sure its not as if it is the same bloke he will give you a pretty good service for a couple of months and then just disappear leaving you out of pocket.

I don't think it is the same person. Parcel King was running at the same time Parcel Bee was as far as I'm aware.

Parcel King is the same as Parcels for Business which are both Logistics for Business Ltd who are in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
  • They are not the same company, one is www.parcelkings.co.uk ie pktradingltd and one is www.parcelking.co.uk ie Logistics for Business Ltd.
While i do see and agree that a lot of parcelkings website is poor and has been copied from other websites, i dont see how i will lose money ie say i use interparcel i would be paying £2.50 more for each parcel, i only send one parcel per day , so the most i would ever lose is £5.00 , but i would only have to have two orders placed and collected and delivered to have not lost a penny if they went under, so i am sure you can see my point, but untill tomorrow i wont even know if ups deliver my parcel, so i wont comment again untill then.

    Sorry matchsticks-on-toast

I got Parcel King and Parcels Kings mixed up. So you sent it with Parcel Kings which was UPS. It does look very similar to the ParcelBee old site. Did you get a choice which carrier collected or did you just book and UPS turned up?

If your parcels have zero value, then yes, I agree.
Remember that UPS (or whoever their current carrier is) have the right to withhold delivery of your consignments until they can recoup the value of the outstanding invoice. Just read the postings from a few months back when PB went tits up.

Nobody knows when the bubble will burst (except ParcelKings).

IMHO, You're playing Russian Roulette and supporting a business with shady ethics.
  • Update on parcelkings.

Ups delivered the parcel at 13.01 today.

Yep, it's not if, but when, you will get burnt. Having said that, I reckon a lot of people will take the risk.

ETA: I note that their address is Quality Court in WC2A which looks like it could be a virtual office. Definite moonlight flit potential imo.
