OK - we get it - youve had a bad experience, you've spent hours trawling through the thread and raked up Danishbacons bad experience from months ago and want to lash out at anyone that tries to comment.

It happens with parcel companies and you move on and try someone else. I think the general consensus is P2G are above average. They do 1000s of parcels a week and the level of complaints is quite low.

What is the DEAL here? I thought that is what forums are for, to allow people to express their views? Why are you and the self appointed moderator 'custardy' getting so UPTIGHT, specifically about Parcel2go. Why are you worried about the criticism against Parcel2go?

I noticed in recommendations put forward by this forum that Parcel2go is marked with a star (*) which means that is one of the companies that financially support this site so that is stays advertisement free.
Is that why you two apparent 'gurus' of the parcel industry are getting so uptight about criticisms against Parcel2go, trying to deter and silence criticism against them. Is that part of your job description? If that is what is going on, it is dishonest and unacceptable that this site claims it is independent.

Looking back at the reactions to my criticisms (both by you and 'custardy'), and to your attempts to undermine my credibility, I can now understand why you reacted as you did.

I have no problem with you criticising P2G - you will not find me praising them anywhere. I think the only old comment you will find from me about them is they are a bit expensive so i choose to use others - that said i think they provide a good service that many people find useful and i would not advise users to stay away.
You should be grateful that Custardy and I commented on your post or it would have sunk without trace.
Unfortunately the only person undermining your credibility is yourself with wild unfounded accusations about your fellow forum members (or should that be gurus) which just goes to cast doubt on the accusations you make against P2G.

My mini review of Parcel2Go: Used them to send 3 parcels now, the DHL ones went off fine, one of them even collected on the same day when ordered at midday!

But the Parcelforce one failed to get collected and had to be rebooked. Due to no-one being at home for the following weekdays it had to be rebooked 1 week later and now did get collected. Maybe Parcelforce are funny about collecting from unfamiliar domestic addresses on the very first occasion. Certainly they left no card.

What is impressive about P2G is the truly instant response to queries on the web page chat window.

TBH i think these issues come up more on an area dependent basis
a lot of the multidrop drivers are under a lot of pressure with workload.
i would recommend anyone setting up a first collection does so as far in advance as possible and be prepared for a failed collection

I seem not so bad where i am as im on the opposite side of the city to the courier depots
so i get my deliveries/collections in the later afternoon
if you are earlier in the route then i guess you are at the mercy of timescales

Get a grip the reason your being criticised is your making very silly and childish statements about a company with no back up. Yes you can say that your one experience was bad but stating that they are making up feedback for their website just sounds rather Pathetic

Now trying to accuse people of working for them your just being ridiculous

    Cyberhob, custardy, kayster,

With references to your comments I will respond for one last time as follows:
I really did not have to prove anything other than what I stated as fact was indeed factual. I did so. As for any expressed opinions, concerns or inferences I have specified the factual basis and reasoning involved.

In contract your attempts to invalidate my views were unfounded. Rudeness, mockery and obnoxious sarcasm are no substitute for valid argument. Distortion will not do either.

I might have been mistaken in trying to find motives behind what I considered unacceptable comments on your part. The explanation for these comments could be much simpler. It could simply be that obnoxious, rude comments are what obnoxious rude persons come up with.

I really don’t wish to waste any more time on your comments or views.
