Seller cant deliver both items, have to be through mail company as being forwarded on overseas through BFPO system.0 -
the seller could be using paypal postage
so are dropping them off at the RM depot/post office
rather than wait for a courier to collect
why are you worried about the deal not going through?
pay the £40 and wait
The deal was..
We buy both items that seller was selling, £75 plus £40 postage. As we are buying both items, they sell for £100 per item delivered.
We buy-it-now then request invoice, seller amends invoice, pay the £200 and sit back await cooler times.
Both items are 'as new, in boxes, no warranty'.

The issue is..
Im trying to save the seller some cash, as i think maybe they were under the impression that they could deliver the items themself, and save £30.
History of seller doesnt seem to ship large items, so i posted it here.
Anyone know how to ship a large parcel, within the uk...0 -

you need to remember that BFPO wont accept packages from all couriers (i think)
IM sure i have seen it before they only deal with RM/PF
sure someone else will confirm0 -

Must post a big thumbs up to parcelmonkey. Had an item stuck at a depot, buyer's fault as he was not in two days in a row. They sorted out redelivery at no extra cost. Not told me yet mind, but punter happy.0

Ive had a look at Parcelforce website and i cant see how they can deliver the items. I expect an air-con unit to be around 25kg in weight, maybe Size (H)80, (W)40, (D)50cm when packaged. When i put this into the website it comes up as un-shipable.
Other sellers have postage listed at £9.99, which i find very strange as surely such a large parcel cant be shipped that cheaply.
Im only asking as we really want to help the seller out, we really want these items delivered (they are cheap) but i cant see how it will happen, and we might have to cancel the auction and buy elsewhere. It was really hot here yesterday.
I would guess its something like this, where it says 16kg weight.
This amazon seller has postage as £12.00
Anyone?
Max size for parcel force is supposed to be 3 meters length and girth combined. Turn the parcel over and make the height the lenght (80cm). This brings it under so can send with parcelforce. I send many items larger than this. As long as it is under 30kg actual weight and the depth or width are not over 60cm there is always someone to take it.
eg- pharos parcel (ups service)
Parcel2click (HDN- although they recently lost a large parcel somehow)
and others....:TSTAY CALM and CARRY ON0 -

You've got loads of choices really:
Interparcel (UPS) £7.99+VAT (needs a printer for labels)
Interparcel (HDNL) £5.95+VAT (needs a printer for labels)
Parcel Monkey (City Link) £9.56+VAT (needs a printer for labels)
collectmyparcel.com (DHL) - £7.45+VAT (can hand write address label)
I don't think any deliver to BFPO Boxes though???0
