Called just now to cancel as my contract was up, was offered 3 months free or £5 a month for 8meg. declined the offer and said mac code will be sent.
Did anyone get a phone call from o2 reducing the above offer after the mac code was sent?
Would i be able to sign up with Be broadband and get quidco cash back??
was thinking of doing the same thing. if you signup for 3 month do you still get the £45.00 cashback?0 -

There is no £45 cashback - it's £40 for pro & unlimited and £25 for anything else like value.
You can't sign up for 3 months - it's a 12 month contract.0 -
Decided to take up the £5 a month offer.
I was going to go with Orange but after reading reviews on how they slow down internet during peak time, therefore decided not to go with them.
O2 are still the best at the moment.:j0 -

Are you already on the 02 mobile discount, i.e. did they offer you a reduction from £7.50pm to £5.00pm for the next 12m-or for the life of the contract? The contract is not 12m, the minimum term contract is 12m.
£5pm for life would be quite a deal...No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

I have been a o2 broadband customers for 2 years i think. Was paying £7.50 a month but they gave discount and and i am now paying £5 a month for 12 months. Will call up retentions again in the next 12 months to see what they can offer.:j0 -
I just phoned to see what they would offer and got the £2.50 discount making it £5 a month for 12 months contract, quite happy with that.0

is there a special number to ring for retentions?0
-
I rang 0800 380 0402 asked what offer they would make and the guy put me through to retentions. I didn't suggest I would move or anything, just asked for an offer, easy as that.0
