The Premium package is the same as standard but with the 8Mbps cap removed. Unless your line will support more than 8Mbps, then there's no point.
They were previously offering a reduction to £5 for a further 12m contract-I'd personally push for that.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

That depends if you already have an 02 mobile discount. If you are on the non-discounted rate of £12.50, then £2.50 a month off is the better deal.No free lunch, and no free laptop0

How can 12 x £2.50 discount ever be better than £50 discount?0
-
It is if you don't have an 02 mobile to get the discount on...
Though of course you should. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Ah - I see it's £50 mobile credit not £50 credited to the BB account. At least that's what one person said but the other just said it was cashback.0

Yes, £50 credit either on contract or PAYG mobiles. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

I'm on the standard package and have an O2 mobile so have been paying £7.50/month. Just spoke to retentions and was offered the £50 bill credit deal if I sign up for another 12 months.kev_pecker wrote: »I'm on the standard £7.50 a month (i'm an O2 customer)....I notice on their website they offer £50 phone credit if you sign up to their £7.50 broadband, obviously I'm not a new customer but is it worth me pushing for this? They were previously offering a reduction to £5 for a further 12m contract-I'd personally push for that.Read my posts above!!! Does nobody ever read even the latest posts in these threads?
50 quid cashback is worth more than the 2.50 /month reduction that they are offering. That depends if you already have an 02 mobile discount. If you are on the non-discounted rate of £12.50, then £2.50 a month off is the better deal.
That's what I mean. Does nobody read anybody else's posts?0 -
OTOH, if you get your tariff down to £5 a month for the next year, they would find it harder to push it back up to £7.50 after that-it might give you some leverage. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Therefore, an easy decision.
OK, I admit there may be a psychological point also.0
