I've just been offered 12 months free on the premium legacy package as I have an o2 PAYG mobile. I phoned retentions and said I was thinking of moving to Sky.0

Just turned down 12 months free broadbamd on O2, to go to Plusnet.
Have gone for the 80 mb unlimited for £19.99 per month.
Speed was an issue for me though. I can only get 5mb on O2.
Hope its a good move.0 -

Good deal..
The wireless box 5 is far from top of the range , in fact it is total rubbish. Wifi is dire , I know I have had 3 and all the same. Do youirself a favour and buy a decent router !0 -
Phoned them up last week to see if local O2 upgrade meant if they could not provide fibreoptic in my area. All I could get out of them was they were being taken over by Sky.
0.25mb tonight down from 2mb ridiculous, wonder if that's a coincidence?
Going to threaten to join BT Infinity I think, the only fibre provider if the area.0 -
Yup for free! I was on 12 month contract at £6.25/month and just went up to £17.50. Called up to complain expecting a lot of sales pitch but instead got put through their loyalty team and now got it free for my next 12 months.
I guess the whole Sky takeover noise has already cost them some punters................nice one Sky!0 -

If you can get BT Infinity, then you should be able to get Plusnet FTTC and Sky FTTC, and possibly others among the smaller ISP's, since they're all the same BT Wholesale product.
02 cannot (and will never now) provide FTTC, because there would be no point in them launching a fibre service prior to the takeover, since Sky akready provide one.No free lunch, and no free laptop0
