I wonder whether the folks who experienced tracking problems have always followed the steps recommended on the main MSE site, especially STEP 3, CLEAN YOUR COOKIES.
This wouldn't be a Quidco-specific issue - cookies "planted" by other sites (such as Google, other cashback sites, price comparison sites etc) that you visited may well interfere with proper tracking and payment, on any cashback site.
I always clean my cookies (using ccleaner) immediately before I start a purchase transaction, and never had one not tracked, on Quidco or on other sites. Sometimes it takes a short while for the tracking to show (cashback site probably needs to wait for response from merchant) but I have never seen tracking not working myself, in literally hundreds of transactions. Of course, tracking doesn't guarantee actual payment (as I experienced with Citibank and Eurobet) but it's a very good start.0 -
I thought the whole 'Quidclans' thing was a bit pointless - just an infinite number of tenuously named forums for people to gripe on. I gather the former director of Friends Reunited is now heading up Quidco (a grave concern for many users, given the fate of that particular enterprise) so perhaps wanted to keep some form of social networking on his website. Anyway, there is one extremely useful Quidclan - the 'Moan Zone' which, at the time of writing, *is* being monitored by Quidco staff and I had a couple of those 12+ month lags investigated and solved within 24 hours of mentioning it in the Moan Zone.
Hey, thanks for this, I joined the moan zone and then less than 6 hours after placing my moan about the Co-op money, it magically went to "received". I can't thank you enough for letting me know about it !0 -
I've had just under £1000 over a couple of years from Quidco. Never had any issues with an average of 3-4 purchases tracked per month.0

The vast majority of transactions track fine. Those where I've had to raise an enquiry have always eventually been paid.
£1342 received since Jan 2007, with nearly a further £200 in the pipeline - well worth the effort!0 -
I always check Quidco before shopping online. The only issue I've had was with a payment from A&L for opening a savings account, but I think that's probably more to do with A&L.0

Have made over £1300 since 2006 via Quidco - yes some transactions have taken MONTHS (years!) to pay out and tickets have taken ages to be resolved but in the end I've only had two declined transactions - one where I returned the item (fair enough) and the other for an unknown reason (Asda opticians). I use a separate browser (Firefox) for all cashback sites and automatically have the cookies and cache cleared when it closes - never had a tracking problem since.0

Never really had a problem. Odd minor niggle but on the whole I have found Quidco reliable and fairly transparent in the way they operate0

Thought they were great. However have had problems with the cashback from MoreThan (declined, no reason given) and Quidco's response was poor to say the least. OK when all is going well, however I won't be using them again.0

Currently at £1250 paid out over 18 months couple of minor glitches eventually they get resolved
Tip 1 : Don't rely on the cashback or use that as the reason for the purchase. everything I have received cashback on is because it was the best deal or something I needed. That way the cashback you receive is pure bonus
Tip 2 Set the payout level at the lowest possible level that way if they do go kaput you have minimal exposure
Stuck with Quidco because it is pretty reliable and the sites are all much of a muchness so no point spreading my spend0 -
Over £2000 in just over 2 years! Have hardly ever had a problem!0
